While nobody from her clan had ever personally met Entei, the doglike master of flame was something of a hero myth to the Houndooms and Mightyenas she had grown up among, revered for his ferocity and strength. She nodded as Flare offered to put his book aside for a bit, and was about to respond when her stomach did so for her. She blinked at the sudden hungry gurgle it produced, blushing under her fur for a moment before laughing sheepishly. "Well, I'd hate to pull you away from your reading for too long, but maybe you could show me where you keep the food here?"

"Yeah, Entei's one. Also Suicune and Raikou, and when talking about them you have to mention Ho-oh and Lugia. The list goes on and on, of course," Flare said. "There's a cafe nearby, they have a ton of good food there. Follow me," with that, he led Summer into town.

When they reached the cafe, Tropius greeted them with a wave of his wing. "Welcome, Welcome! And what can I get for you?" Flare pondered a moment. "Do you have any Red Gummis?" "Indeed I do!" Tropius said. "And what would you like miss?" He asked Summer.

There were others in the pantheon, that much she knew, but she was impressed with the scope of this little cyndaquil's knowledge. Her family hadn't really been the scholarly type, but maybe here she'd have the opportunity to learn something beyond mere survival skills.

She followed Flare into the town, trying not to gawk too noticeably at all the new sights, sounds, and smells. Pokemon of all shapes and sizes were out and about, plodding through the streets or zipping through the air. When they reached the cafe, Summer glanced up at the wooden menu board, noticing that nearly everything was either fruits, vegetables, drinks, or gummis. She realized belatedly that it probably wasn't a good time to mention that her pack had been meat-eaters on occasion, when foraging didn't yield enough to sustain them. Townies tended to frown on that kind of behavior. "I'll have an apple, thanks." she said, then turned her head back to snuffle in the saddlebags slung across her shoulders. She had saved up a little money before leaving home, and delicately pulled out a few coins with her teeth, setting them on the counter. "Will this cover it?"

As she waited for Tropius to fetch her food, she glanced over, noticing that the Pikipek she had met when joining was there as well, with two other Pokemon. "Who's that with your Guildmate?" she asked Flare curiously.

Flare looked at the trio at the table. "I don't know. I think that they're new as well," he commented, popping a Gummi into his mouth. "Flit's friends with everyone, and everyone's friends with Flit. When you're here a while, you learn that no matter what the pokemon, in a guild, most are friendly. I once heard of a team that consisted of a Seviper and a Zangoose,"

Flit looked up. "Hey! Flare and Summer! Why don't you join us over here?" She called cheerfully. Flare nodded and walked over. "Coming?" He asked.

Kairo steps forward into the base looking around unimpressed
by the appearance of the place. Flicking his tail he keeps
going.


Curled in a ball Lanie looked out of the rain soaked cave where
she sheltered. "Kairo where are you." she sighed.

As Bright wandered he began to pant in the heat. Rocky desert were not a water

Hummer zipped by and noticed the Luxio. "This is a day full of new guys! Head to the bottom floor!" she said, leading the way. "Do you have a name???"

His head shot up in surprise "Ah.... yes I'm Kairo" he said "Did you say new recruits??"
