I made Ny'venes based on the Sun. I was thinking of sun spots when I added the Yellow Anaconda as a carry. I know the sun looks much more orange up close but I decided to do a compromise between that and the more yellow look from afar. I also added Red Admiral Marking as another carry because I like how there's a circle like the sun visible on the male.

This pair of Ny'venes was based off of what I would usually do for Summer C:
Some of you may not know, but I am a obsessed fruit person *A* I love all fruits, every single one! :3 Except poisonous ones O3O Poison bad. I especially love sour fruits in the summer, since the sweaty sun is sweaty *m* However, I also like swimming in Summer :3c Since swimming helps cool me down XD And amazingly, I'd love to see smiles on fruits XD

One of my favorite memories of the summer is driving into Chicago to go to all the festivals and street fairs and museums with my family and friends. It never seems to stop amazing me the beauty and grandeur that this city holds. It is the epitome of summer. A hot day with a cool breeze from the Lake, fro-yo with friends, sitting in rooftop bars just watching the boats sail by. My pair is based on the city Skyline at night, and in the morning, with the Sears Tower high above everything else, bright white clouds floating by, and a sense of calm and peace.


The male carries: Flame design, Lynx, Nekomata tail, and Flame spirit horns to represent the clouds above the city, the twin spires on top the Sears Tower, and the spiritual flame this city has.

The female respresents the city skyline in the morning, with its stunning hues from the sun glowing off the Gold Coast highrises. She carries: Flame design, Lynx, Nekomata tail, and Spirit Flame Horns.

Summer time for me means going floating, lazing down the river and swinging off of trees into the water.

Male:

Based on the forest and trees overhanging the river, with quad arms for climbing trees

Female:

Based on the river, with her markings as the bubbling of the water and her horns represent light reflecting off the surface, and quad arms because I'm sure as heck not rowing the canoe all by myself

Well, this summer I have had a regular visitor, to my window next to my desk. A female cardinal has been landing next to the window, and hopping about in front of it, peering in and tilting her head every few days. So I decided that I would base my summer pair on what a female cardinal would look like if she was a Lighira. Cardinals are usually associated with winter more, but this female is certainly sticking around plenty during summer, too. ^^
