One of the guards jumped back as she saw 34 behind her. "H-hello" She said. "Umm... I-I hope the alarm didn't disturb you"

"I'm sorry" The guard said softly, his voice filled with sympathy. He looked at his feet.
"If it helps," The guard next to Lacey said suddenly, his voice unexpectedly soft but clear, and laced with a very light and hardly noticeable British accent "I'm trapped here to". He looked at Ase. "I'll have to talk with my father about the fact that he's willing to imprison his own employees". He then stopped talking, and went back to looking forwards, his expression blank, as though he hadn't said anything at all.

34 growled and hissed at the guards as he stomped past them

srry im late)"Wait."She said,staring angrily at the guards."Can I at least show them what it's like out in the woods?Even with an escort?"She pleadedPlease say yes...I hope this works...she thought,her legs shaking.She had a huge fear of needles,but guns shooting needles was worse."But if I can...can only one escort go with us so it's not just a bunch of heavy armored people surrounding and blocking our view of the wilderness?"

The guard on the right snorted. "How dumb do you think we are, kid?" she said. The guard next to her looked at her with an annoyed expression. "Be nice, they're just kids" she said. The first guard snorted again. "Our orders were to take these kids back, not make deals with them" She looked at Ashes. "Listen, you can see the forest or whatever later. For now you come with us". The other guard glared at her, but didn't disagree. She looked at Itri. "Hey, bud. Your dad is very worried about you. Can you come back with us to him?". Itri looked at the guns nervously, but nodded. He looked at Ashes to see how she would respond.

She held in her anger."Um,excuse me?Ha,I'm not just a little kid."She smirked."See,I was raised where it's smart to always,hm,let's see...how should I put this?"She walked slowly up to the guard."Hey,you see this right here?"She asked putting her hand up to his face,showing him a mark."I got that from THIS!"She screamed,punching the guard in the face and running.

"Ahh!" The Guard yelled, her hands flying up to her face. "You little -!". The guard next to her raised her tranquilizer and sent a volley of darts after Ashes, before regarding the person next to her with a concerned expression. "Kate! Are you okay?" She pulled the guard's, or, apparently, Kate's, hands away from her face to reveal a broken nose. "Oh no..." She noticed that Ashes had left Itri behind accidentally. "Here" She said handing her Itris arm. "Take this one back to the leader, and then get yourself to the medical bay. I'll get the other one". Kate nodded. "guess we'll have to call off dinner for tonight" she grumbled, dragging Itri behind her. The other guard took off after Ashes. "The fence isn't too far off. She can fly, but that won't stop the underground one from etting her" She thought to herself.

As the darts screamed towards her she suddenly flew upwards,above the trees.She was breathing hard.I'll come back for the others later...She thought,swooping down below the trees again.Her black wings beat faster as she dodged the trees.She saw the fence ahead,and decided to find the other guard.She swooped upward,almost above the clouds.She scanned the forest below,trying to stay somewhat out of sight.

"Your father works here?" Ase said looking up her eyes wide. "He's the boss?!"

(Get ready for some exposition!)
Vincent nodded. "Yes. He mostly just makes important decisions and oversees the other bosses, though" He looked at the cat lady. "I'm somewhat surprised you don't know this, considering the fact that you're an employee. This place is run by 6 people. First we have my father, Ruben Pierce, who is the main boss, next we have Victoria Dunai, who you already saw. She is in charge of defenses, meaning that she is in charge of the the training of the security guards, making sure that the fences are working efficiently, stuff like that. Her adopted sibling, Caroline, or Caro, as they prefer to be called, helps her with that. Faith Allaway is in charge of making sure that we maintain a positive image, must have been pretty difficult for her when that one guy got arrested, Norman Ebner is in charge of economics, and Edgar Kimura is in charge of approving experiments, which is a difficult job for lots of reasons, one being that majority of the scientists don't even realize that they have to get their experiments approved.

The guard searched the sky for any traces of the girl. She kicked at some rocks angrily while she did. Why did I have to try to be nice instead of taking action immediately? She thought, feeling guilty about Kate's injury.

"I know well who my boss is its just that he is your father that surprised me." Ase said looking at the man before leaning in close to him. "Just between you and me do you think you could talk to him about putting 1165 under my care? I feel his therapist is being a bit abusive to him."
