Angela nodded. Tiger cried and looked behind him. Then he was sprawled out on the floor from an electric shot. Tiger screamed in pain and looked at Angela his eyes saying please help me angela! Angela looks at Tiger and starts to tear up.

Nico sucked in a deep breath. That feeling washed over her. She hated that feeling. She opened the cell door, ready to spring at any movement. She felt like saying something cliche like "I'm sorry." or "You'll be fine.", but she didn't. She whipped out her tranquilizer gun and looked around at the mirrors. "Veronica, sector 413, 1201, 1202, 1203. Backlands, redlightzone. Request to take subject." She didn't wait for a reply. She shot Tiger in the arm, wincing as she did so. "I'm taking him back to his room." she snarled, starting to drag the man out of the room. "Dear, a bit of help?" she asked the winged girl. "He won't feel any pain now. It's best we get him back."

Angela looks at Tiger and picks him up. "I can carry him." Angela said. "Tiger is all I have left...." Angela then started to tear up. She looked at Tiger sorry for him but at least he wasn't in pain. Angela shook her head and looked at the scientist. "Where do I go?" Angela asked.

"Follow me, I'll take you over to 1201's room while I find your Professor. Follow me, stick close, though." She lead the girl down the eerie hallways, getting a few glances from older scientists as she passed into the red-light zone. She stopped in front of 1201's room. "1201," she announced. "1201, you have guests." Shuffling was heard from behind the door. She slid the card. "Go on, 1201 hasn't hurt anyone in years. They're perfectly kind."

Angela nodded. "I don't mind." Angela said. "I just hope Tiger will be okay..." Angela waited.

"Be sure to close the door behind you." She said, running off torward the office to the PA system.

1201 got up out of their chair, "come in," they said, although all that came out was a growly bark.

Angela nodded and entered. She closed the door. "So they call you 1202?" Angela said. "They call me Experiment #12 but I hate it!" Tiger groaned. Angela sat down and put her hand to Tiger's head.

1201 nodded. They did seem a bit startled to have two guests in their room at once. "My name is 1201," they said, as was customary to greet guests. "What are your nu-names?" They glanced down at the bleeding man. "Is he okay?"

"No.... not at all. I am Angela or that's what I prefer to be called." Angela said. "This man is Tiger or more he should be a morph between a human and tiger right now."

"Do you want me to fetch you some water?" The way they said "water" sounded like woder. 1201 didn't wait for a response, and hurried to the desk where there's was some mineral-enhanced water in a pitcher. "Ah, I don't have any glasses..." they said, giving the entire pitcher to Angela. Guests had never spoken to them, this was odd.
