She tried to follow the warrior code and remain loyal to her clan until she fell in love with Appledusk. Love is uncontrollable, really. She placed all her faith and trust in him, but after her kits were clearly chased into the river by ThunderClan (they also watched the kits drown) and Mapleshade did all she could to save them, Appledusk flung his nose up and revealed he was cheating on her. Then she was banished from both clans for what, loving? Sure, if she was less sensitive she could have shrugged it off after a while, but she wasn't less sensitive. She had nothing else to live for, and I think that's one reason why she went insane and chose to go to the Dark Forest, because screw this, nobody likes me anymore, what's the point anyways.
And then Appledusk went to StarClan, because these cats and their code are screwed in the head.

Just clarifying, you can post as much times as you want in a round if you listen to three simple rules.1. Don't double post 2.Don't add or take 2 "points" in one post 3. Wait till 2 people have posted (to vote) after you post to post again. It's simple really.
