Oh my god, I was just waiting for someone to mention Mapleshade! You don't have to be good to be a good character and have a great story.

Mapleshade is cruel and awful (though I haven't heard her full story, that is my current opinion of her)
Also, not saying she's a bad character, I just don't like her. XP

11. She kept getting these visions, driving her to kill Ravenwing, Frecklewish, and Appledusk. She truly believed StarClan was sending her these visions and telling her to kill them. She thought her kits would never be free until they were dead. All she tried to do was love.
