Oh, huh. I had no idea this game even existed but it looks interesting. I'll see what I can do. Horror *is* my favourite. c:

Ring around the rosey
Pocket full of posey
Ashes, ashes
We all fall down

There has always been something creepy about that rhyme. If you asked me, I probably wouldn't be able to tell you, but then again, almost no one would. If you happen to get someone to answer, however, you may want to run. Why? I suppose I should start from the beginning. But don't read this unless you know the consequences. They'll be after you if they find out.

It all started one dusky evening, well, it was not just a regular evening. You see, tonight was Halloween. Trick-or-treaters came all night, and one by one, I asked them whether or not they could tell me something that would frighten me about the rhyme. Not one child (or otherwise) answered something enough to creep me out. When I was getting ready to stop letting trick-or-treaters come, a knock came on my door. The figure was hooded, and I assumed it was just another child. So I did the routine. I gave them candy, and I asked them the question. The figure thought about it for a while, long and hard, before replying,
"Ah, I knew that family." The voice rasped, genderless. "The children loved collecting flowers. One day, after the children came back from collecting flowers, an evil spirit got mad at them. For those were the spirit's flowers, and they could only be grown once in a lifetime; a blood moon on Halloween. A night like tonight."
I glanced up at the moon, and, surely enough, it was bloodred.
"Those flowers were called Helllace, and they were poisonous, but highly valued for their petals, which can act as an antidote for anything made correctly. Anyway, the spirit was so mad, they burned the house, and the whole village too. However, the spirit made sure all the denizens lived, only to be poisoned by the Helllace. Now, Helllace has a magical quality, it may reap the soul from one's body, but it traps the soul here, never to find freedom. Legend has it, the ghosts haunt this very ground. Every denizen enheriting this property must feel the wrath of the evil spirit." With that, I suddenly felt heat, my house was burning! When I looked back, the hooded figure was gone, but I was trapped. Vibrant red flowers with viscous purple thorns streched towards me. Helllace.

Now that I've told you, your in danger. And Halloween is nearing. Be careful.

Sure, next game then (this game goes in several rounds till one writer is left)

Or if you want, you can pull a Soltra8 move and just write when you want but it won't be graded/judged or included as part of the contest/game, meaning you won't be writing under the deadline
