I'm voting for #1 and #6.
#1 is a more unique depiction of life and I think the descriptions explain what they were trying to convey quite well. I don't like the design of life per-say but I do like how they tried to step outside of the box with these designs. Death looks great and I like how it's not entirely black. The pops of purple and the red chest/belly still represent the designer's meaning all while keeping the design interesting.
#6 is just a great depiction of both war and peace all while staying unique. I always have a hard time designing luporas so I praise anyone who can do that well and I really like both of the designs here not only for what they were representing but because they are just attractive to me. The writing could use work, but that's not what we are judging. I also liked how they used the mutation spring flowers on both but used the difference between the genders in their favour.
