I really love the idea of the Philter of nullification especially! Now I can get rid of skeletal armor on my Chocolate Cream Pie vulnyx :) It will turn my 2 vis into a 1 vis but I will love it much more. I assume I can't replace it, since it is an exclusive not tamed.
The other Philter I can understand but I can't see me using it personally.
While we discussing philters could anybody explain to me when and why you would use a philter of unlearning?
Thanks, and thanks Krin for the new philters.

The potions are great but... if we sell our stat pets or high trait pets and don't want others to breed them that means we will need to spend an additional 150 diamonds on top of all the time and money we've already put into that.

If you want 50K from your projects that means your price suddenly jumps to 350-550K (150 diamonds @ 2-3K ea + your 50K) just to compensate for the infertility potion to avoid people breeding the pet you're selling. People are not going to buy a pet for 500K unless it's a very high GP wheel offspring.

This would have been a lot better if the amnesia potion stayed in the diamond shop and the infertility potion was moved to the scale shop... or at least not priced at 150 diamonds. :( I won't be buying these despite how much I'd like to...

In the case of the Ethernia Arena, there are tier brackets for lvl25 and lvl50.

You can only use lvl25 pets for the lvl25 bracket, not any higher.
So if for some reason your lvl25 pet that you use for the arena levels up (i.e. using it in an outside battle, it getting experience from having its profile viewed) to lvl26, its unusable for the arena.

Same for lvl50. So to make sure it doesn't accidentally go to the next level, a philter caps it.

Thanks, Flute. I haven't ventured into the arena yet and I couldn't make out why anyone would want to stop a pet gaining experience.

Agreed Ffor. xD;

I understand why this may have such a high price. Maybe its to try and boost the economy, or maybe because its just that big of a deal to make it that high of a price.
Maybe it's a way to raise the bar of projects by an extra 350k-375k, so players all across the board would have to learn how to make more money to meet the margin, and projects wouldn't be so cheap, and it would justify buying essences or catching pets to breed one's own pets or something, idk.

I would assume that if a philter of null is 1000 scales, this infertility would be practically 2000 scales in equivalence to its diamond price.

I originally priced my max stat aeris at around 685k, which I thought was good for my customers. Now I feel bad hiking it up an extra 375k, but I also don't want to lose out on my 685k profit (which was already lost to all the philters I had to buy beforehand lol) that I originally wanted.
Not to mention that my stat project isn't even 6vis, and there's already some users on the rise that are breeding those up a storm. xD

I would greatly prefer collecting and spending 2000 scales than 150 diamonds. xD I already collect the scales to buy dyes instead of spending gold on them.

I used 50K as an example but I know that stat projects, at least max. ones are WAY more, more like your price. Paying over 1 million gold in order for the breeder to get their profit isn't a good price for buyers... but I guess that's how it will be?

I totally understand your point (and maybe Krin/Fai's intention) of it possibly changing the economy but in reality... only a small amount of players want to pay over 1 million for a max. stat pet.

I WAS psyched to see the infertility philters coming out, as I could finally start releasing my projects out to the public, however seeing that they're diamonds instead of scales as they were announced that they would be, I fear I may never release my projects to the public... I'm feeling rather heartbroken at that.

Nullification question: Will this nullify all traits in a slot or could it be used to just bring out a hidden trait?

At this time, it just nullifies the entire slot.
