The male looks so much better now. <3
The female looks a bit large compared to the male though. Perhaps shrink her a little bit to match the male version?

The females of several species of amphibian are larger than the males, there is nothing wrong with this. If anything, I like it for the realism.

I think I'd like it if the female were looking forward, so that you can line them up so that they're looking at each other.

Krin already stated on page 2 that the images haven't been sized properly yet, so the two sexes will probably end up closer to the same size.
I like the idea of having the male on a rock or something, but that might not be feasible. At least I really like the female, so I can just stick with them.

The old ones were rather...well they look more like something that should be wearing scales than skin, really. The new ones actually look right with skin.

Well, yes, I'd also like it better if the female were actually looking forward, and for the same reason, Nabiki. I like pairing pets up in my stables so they are looking at their mates. However, comic/anime/etc female characters--of any kind--that appear contorted in the artwork drive me into foaming-at-the-mouth fits. I was expressing my relief that, oh, thank goodness, at least this is merely a simple head turn, such as any creature might do.

True, but we really need a creature that can do a crouching dragon-type posture, looks ready to pounce from all fours, tail in an angry mid-lash, a long neck with the head held low along the ground, teeth bared, the lips curled back away from the teeth in a clear snarl, malevolent expression in the eyes, dripping fangs, the ears laid back...rather like a Bane Waja, except scaled instead of furry and with short legs like a crocodile or something similar.
Something that looks really, really hungry....
