Didn't see any similar suggestions so if this has already been said, my apologies for repeating. But I would -really- love a "Favorite Threads" tab or somehow being able to bookmark or keep track of threads you're, well, wanting to keep track of. Maybe even an organizational step, like sub categories. Or something customizable, as albums are on photo sites.

Really, I'd just love to put 10-20 threads I'm really trying to keep track of into one spot to quickly get to them (like how pings work). I've heard of a lot of people trying to keep track and forgetting about contests or auctions and not finding them until it's too late.

I just think it'd make things easier, and less time spent hunting for old threads = more time doing stuff on the site!

This is a pretty good idea. In certain sections, threads can get pushed down fairly quickly. It would also be good for people using the same thread for many contests, pet sales, etc. I support this idea.

I currently keep track of everything on my profile page, but that's already crowded enough with random notes and my personal achievements list. @.@ I'd love to snip one more chunk off my profile drabbles, and have a direct way in the forums to get to them rather than clicking back to my profile page and scrolling down to find them. x_x;

Yes, I am also very much in favour of this idea. I'd been thinking of a "follow/unfollow" option where you get autopinged when a thread updates, but favourites are an even better way of handling it!
