OMG, I giggled when you said '...no limit on dying pets', that somehow sounded so weird XD

I feel the same way, Roseydove.

I didn't realize it was a big enough problem for a little icon though. And aren't most re-dyes obvious? I don't quite understand, but I'm totally cool with the update anyway. My baby has an extra little buddy now. :3

Also, endless dying is 50% of my breeding projects and I'm super happy that's the same. ^0^

Hmm... I suppose it's nice to know if a pet has been dyed, but I don't really get it. Is a pet's dyed color less likely to be transferred to offspring or something, if so I had no idea that was the case...otherwise I never even knew there was an issue. Life's mysteries I guess.

I think the main reason why people want this feature is to know if themed pets have been dyed. Since dyed themed pets are deemed by some users to no longer be true themed pets since they no longer follow the set colours of the themed. It is especially confusing for new players if they do not know the concept of themed pets and not know if the differences in colours amongst a theme comes from natural colour swings, or intentional dying of colours by the user.

So besides seeing if themed pets have been dyed, I'll say this feature does not really affect any other pets.
And a dyed colour should pass on in the same way as any other colour.

Oh,Ok! I guess that makes sense...never thought of any of that...hmm thanks for the explanation, it was much appreciated as I'm just now starting to get into the swing of reading forum posts/buying selling customs etc. :)

As long as Dyed colors are still passed on to offspring, I'm happy.

Yes the dyed color still transfers. This mod is to cater to the pure-ist's that nit pick about themed Pets having their colors changed from how they were when caught.

I doubt the icon will change things but at least they can avoid the themes if they want original colors instead of owner personal touches.

Sweet! Not that it matters breeding wise for me, but it will be nice to be able to identify what's a swing and what's actually been tampered with the new themes coming out.
