I have a custom idea for you

I would like to order one custom Ice Mage's Familiar and one custom Ice Dragon

For the Familiar:
I would like to order a Northern Lights themed one. The main body would be a dark blue colour, much like the night sky, with some stars possibly. I'd love for the Northern Lights themselves to be pink, blue, purple and green. The eyes of the familiar I would love to see a bright, energy blue of sorts, (ie like 00fff2)

For the Ice Dragon:
I would like the same theme as the familiar. Again, a bright energy blue for the eyes, and the mist coming out of its mouth, it would be neat to see it in the four colours that I picked for the northern lights.

Thank you both so much for offering this service. I have made a custom in the past, but my trail of sai ran out, and you both have far more experience than myself and could make something far more amazing than I could!

What you would like: I was thinking like a "blood crystal" type of thing. Other than that, I have no real specifications, other than if you are able to do a crystal - texture on it, that would be amazing :o

I simply do not have the skill to do a crystal texture xD

Tried playing around with the layers for the Ice Dragon.

I used these colors for the northern light schemes. You're free to tell me what hexes you'd like me to use instead.
Energy blue: 00fff2
Purple: cc44f8
Pink: fd42a3
Green: 7ff26c
Night sky navy blue: 050239

First attempt to figure out how to color the mouthflames aha. Goes from green-blue-purple-pink.

Then as far as trying to apply the northern light colors to the body, I just...flopped the gradient onto one of the layers aha.
In the upper left corner, you can see the gradient progression, from pink to purple to blues to green (I just put them in order of transition aha).
If you prefer the colors to go in a different order, lemme know!

The problem with the Ice Dragon is that the middle portion is hidden behind the avatar, so...yeah aha.

And I wanted to do a mock up of the Familiar, so you can pin-point what you'd like to see for it.

Keep in mind that both items have an overall transparency atm. x__x /wonders if it'll look less washed-out once it becomes an actual item!

Oh wow, thank you for what you've done so far, Flute! And I have to say, I love what you wrote with the familiar! XD

I think all of the colours you picked out for the Northern Light colours work really well together. I see no need to change them. The only adjustments I'd ask for so far, is on the ice dragon, the dots of colour on the top of his head, I'd rather have in the purple colour or purple/pink gradient, everything else on him is awesome! As for the familiar, all I would want adjusted is the gradient of his hair/horns. I'd like the section of blue to be a little bit larger and the section of green to be a little bit smaller. Otherwise, he is perfect so far.

I can't wait to see how they end up! :D
