Walking along the streets of Ethernia, you notice a small little cafe, situated between a large pet shop and an armory. Intrigued by the sign you decide to take a look in the delicate cafe. As you enter through the door you are greeted by two cheerful girls Unfortunately the Shop has a closed sign on it at the moment.



Flute and I had noticed a lot of these customs sales threads about the place and decided to pool our resources seeing as the both of us are avid custom makers..

A lovely lady with noticable pink hair walks by as you sit at one of the tables. She smiles at you and hands you a menu. "Hi, my name is Anya, and I'll be your waitress today~"

She goes back behind the counter and comes out with orders for other customers. Her movements are coordinated, and the customs themselves look delightful and tasteful on their plates. You then notice that Anya's presentation of the customs probably help make them all look so delectable.

"Anya is our model for our customs. She's actually really great at dressing up and bringing out the best in our items!"

You notice that the menu in your hands wasn't much a menu, but many pictures of Anya in different outfits showing off each item.

Whether you'd like a purely personal piece, or a custom that you'd like to share with everyone, we'd love to help you if you cannot do so yourself~"

The price for a custom dish? We don't have one! We only take tips.
You, the customer, will be submitting the custom to Krinadon yourself, paying the upfront price to make that custom (the base price of the monthly plus 100 diamonds). We only helped you make the design, so we won't charge anything more. c:

Willow and I have been discussing our concerns regarding how our customers distribute their customs, mainly selling them.
Regardless of how much work we put into your custom, whether it's minutes for a recolor or days to do a sketch into a detailed work, we do not ask for you to pay us at any cost.

However, we would really like for any custom that we put a considerable amount of effort into (i.e. customized markings, designs, anything more than a simple recoloring of the base), if you choose to resell it to others, to be sold at a flat rate of 100 diamonds. Nothing more.

This is because we do our requests non-profit, and we would like if our customers also share them non-profit. The 100 diamonds would be going purely towards the admin to make a copy of the custom, and we feel that it wouldn't be right if our customers were making a profit off of a request we took the time to do while not taking profit for ourselves.
In regard of fundraising to pay the cost to turn the custom into an item (i.e. charging 120 diamonds for a custom for 5 customs, to pay for a custom's upstart price of 200 diamonds plus the copies for others), we feel a bit uncomfortable about this, because that's asking other Sylestians to pay extra just to make a custom we helped designing into a real item. We feel that the upfront cost should be mainly paid by the main customer who ordered it, but we cannot really enforce this. Please consider that we care about the players who buy our works, and we want it to be fair for them as well as for us.

While we don't ask for any pay, it wouldn't be fair for others to make them pay for a work we made for nothing at all!

Once you do, either of us will contact you and we'll go through any steps required to design your item.

It usually consists of:

a) any questions to clarify what you'd like (to make the order absolutely perfect~)
b) constant updates/W.I.P. (work in progress) shots from the kitchen
c) making sure that the final image is the correct size, or smoothing out any conflicts with the file

(not that it's really complicated, just thought it'd be okay to show how it works~)

Also, I heard from Willow that our good friend and fellow chef, Electrifying, doesn't mind helping us with our custom service. c: So she'll be in the kitchen with us as well~

Even though the cafe's practically empty, you see pens and paper on the counter, next to the brand new, shiny cashier.

"Oh, those? I was a bit too excited about color coding and categorizing our customers...it never hurts to be organized, right?"

Note: Please do tell us if any custom of ours will be given to another player! This is solely so I can keep track of where our copies are going.
Outside of this store, unless we have personally made deals with other players pertaining to our customs, we do NOT give permission for other players to order our custom items. Please respect this! (I don't see why anyone wouldn't...)

FAQ

~ How much does a custom Cost? ~

Well that depends on the base price of the object you are customising. Take for example the September '14 Shadow Stalker customs, the cost for one of the site artist designed Stalkers was 200d, so a custom of this would cost the 200d Base fee + 100d (and if you wanted further copies of said custom it would be another 100d for each copy)

So if you say "I want 3 copies of this custom stalker" It would cost 500d

~ How many copies can I order? ~

You can order an infinite number of copies.

~ and can I order more after the month is over? ~

You can order copies of your custom when ever you like, as long as they have been put into the system, Krinadon can easily send you more copies.

~ What exactly can I order, in the way of a custom? ~

The site has become really relaxed about what one can and cannot do with customs. I remember back, when all you were allowed to do was re-colour certain layers, named "COLOR LAYERS" and that was about it, now we can re-colour pretty much the entire custom.

Eg. This is the custom from the month from April '14 the Ny'Vene Hatchling and what its layers look like.


And here is the Custom from June '14 and its many many layers...

You can see the difference in the colour layers. However with each month the customs are different. So it really depends on what Krinadon is allowing us to re-colour each month.
