Where and how do you use level up points I can't get to the page

This post is outdated. 'Level up points' no longer exist in the game, as far as I'm aware. Proficiency points do though! They're unlocked at levels 0, 30, 60, 65, 70, and 75, and are accessible via your pet's profile page.

Does battling make exploring finish faster? I'm trying to get done with story mode as fast as I can.

Until you get to the third area battling is required. You will not progress in Viridian Meadows or Umbra forrest if you do not battle.

As Amaya mentioned, only in the 3rd region can you travel through the zone without battling (ie you can run away and still make progress). For the first two regions, which I suspect you're at, you'll need to battle to progress through the storyline.


Just some advice, even if you can get through the storyline line without battling, I would personally advice you don't skip battles. At the end of each stage in the story, there will be a boss battle. The more battles you fight, the more experience your pet will gain (increasing their levels), and this will also give you more time to figure what kind of team and strategy works for you.

Which is probably why the game doesn't let you progress unless you fight enough battles, so you won't be underskilled when you face the boss.
