He sighed but nodded, understanding that Alaska was a hard worker and she would likely not be able to talk to him for awhile. " Alright, when she has the time please send her over, alright? "

Maveric nodded. "We will definitely do that." He was so relied that he bought into it. He wasn't sure what he wouldn't done if he hadn't.

David returned to his workbench, fiddling with the weapons, trying to get them to work. He found the one Alaska had been using, and salvaged what he could from it. that amounted to the recoil spring, the grips, and the firing pin. Even the suppressor was totaled. He resolved to talk to Alaska about it when he next saw her.

Victor:

He soon fell back asleep again, his breathing a slow steady pace as he fell back into his slumber. Rose was unhappy about this, but at the same time very glad that Victor didn't ask all too much about Alaska.

Maveric lowered his voice, even though Victor was asleep, and said, "so, should we start looking for her, or should we leave her on her own?" He was referring to Alaska

Rose thought for a few minutes, thinking hard about her options with this. " If we go get her, she will simply run off farther because she needs to prove she is stronger. We will wait for her to return on her own, she has to. "

Maveric nodded. She had a point. "Yeah, okay." Alaska was stubborn like that. Her pride was just too inflated.

Rose laughed a little and said, " Victor liked to compliment her, if he kept doing it one of these days her head wouldn't fit out a door. "

Maveric chuckled. "Yeah, she's way too full of herself. And poor Victor doesn't get anything back, either. He gives and she takes, and never gives anything back."
