Seeing the injuries to Victor, whom David considered to be a friend, he left, then returned with the first aid kit. He looked over the wounds, and found that they weren't bleeding, and Victor was soundly sleeping. David left the first-aid kit just outside the door, before stepping out of the room.

Maria:

She heard David and groggily woke up, getting up and following David before saying. " Were you visiting Mr. Victor? "

Maveric smiled. She was beautiful. He leaned down to kiss her, giving her a chance to back away if she wanted to

Rose:

As if she had expected it, Rose leaned in to kiss him, her arms snaking around his neck. She didn't care who saw, let them be seen. She wanted everyone to know Maveric was hers, and hers only.

"Yes, I was," David said, noting Maveric and Rose standing together in the next room, "Would you like to learn something?"

Maria:

She seemed to almost jump up and down from pure excitement and she nodded. " Yeah that would be really really cool!! "

Figuring Maria needed to know how to defend herself, David lead her to a room with no windows, set a lamp on the floor in the middle, and placed a knife in Maria's hand. "I'm going to teach you how to defend yourself," David said.

Maria:

" Defend myself from the bad people? " She asked, curiosity lacing her voice. She didn't think she need to protect herself from anything, but she was still eager to learn.
