Blazetalon and Sunfeather take this as their time to fly up into the air to keep watch.

"Oh well. Better keep on going then," he says, flapping up higher and continuing the glide westward.

You continue on for some time, the sun eventually dipping to the horizon and the air getting a lot colder.

"About time we found a place for the night," Skywhisper says, looking up at you.

In your attempt to have the fuse wire get as close as the exit as you could, you accidentally allowed one of the wires to get too close to the pillars - despite trying to be careful about it. The last Hellhounds Breath bottle splashes onto the wire, and it flares up as an ember of fire shoots along it.

The four pillars flame up, and you hear commotion outside as people hear the smashing of the bottles and the hiss of the ember along the fuse wire.

You light the final fuse wires as one of the pillars cracks. You rush into the small cupboard and it's impossible not to trip over your staff as you try to shoot out the door. Your legs tangle and you tumble to the ground just as there is a mighty explosion, the early Firebottle going off and making the earth shudder.

There are cries of surprise - some of pain - from the front of the warehouse. Rapid hoofbeats sound as Centaurs rush towards the burning building.

You head along the road for the rest of the day, the few trees growing just by the riverside disappearing to reveal the similar sloping grassland as before. It's a lot more hilly now, though.

Numbat stops by the time the sun has sunk to the horizon. "Time to set up camp!" he says cheerily, opening his pack and taking out a tiny tent. He begins to set it up as the two phoenix come down to the group again.

Newt, still not caught on to the fact that you are his brother, gives you another smile before looking over your shoulder. "Now, I'd best be off - can't let Mastermind get too much of a head start."

It seems your dyed hair and lenses paid off, and the fact that your brother was too interested in his book-reading and studying to really remember you.

He skirts round Knight's jaws, disappearing round the corner. Knight huffs, nudging you before trudging off the rest of the way to Malindi's hospital.
