(Sadly I am not sure where I would put Jaxon in the RPG and it would be hard for me to constantly manage interactions betwen them. Is it alright if he's been out of town to visit family or something and Evan is just chilling by himself? XD)

Most of greater Fantasia was a pretty busy working city, but the college you went to and the surrounding area, where you currently resided, was fairly quiet. You were whistling as you returned to this quieter area from where you'd been picking up various snacks in the city, when you realized everything had gone quieter than usual. A shadow passed over your head, and you assumed it was just a cloud- it was late autumn, after all- until you looked up and it seemed as though the sky was quite literally turning black. Well, less of turning black, than simply disappearing and leaving some sort of void open.
Then the ground began to shift under your feet, and you last remember losing your balance dizzily and falling on your face, except the ground beneath you was now just void.
With a jolt, you wake up lying in your... bed? It feels like you'd just been dreaming, but it still feels so real, and you don't remember sleeping at all. Yet, everything is perfectly peaceful, and it doesn't feel remotely, well, apocalyptic.

What will you do?

(Most modern electronics don't exist in this universe by the way, technology is more in the direction of steampunk things, so trains and mechanical stuff mostly. I should clarify. Sorry!)

That's works with Jaxon.

Evan scratched their head in confusion but just passes it off a a weird dream. They hears their stomach growling so they get ready and heads to the kitchen. They open the pantry to grab the Crispy Crunch cereal they bought yesterday but cant seem to find it. "Weird, I was sure I bought some" Evan said to themself. Evan, not wanting to make anything and really craving the Crispy Crunch, grabs their wallet, puts on their shoes and heads out to the supermarket.

Pinglist - I have added clarification about the setting in the locations post, since some people were kind of confused. I should've gone into more depth to begin with - my bad xP
Hopefully this clears things up, let me know if you have any questions!

You have nothing to check the time with in your room, but you hear the clock tower outside ring eleven times.
You think you remember having checked out the book that morning from the nearest library, but when you look at your bookshelf, it isn't there.

You're standing right at the edge of downtown Fantasia. If you want to find somewhere quieter, you can either go further away from the center of the city, or duck into a side street or store.
It also occurs to you that normally your shop would be open at this time, if you would like to do something about that instead.

(Best reference I could find lol)

The market is neither busy nor quiet, just the way you're used to, with the lone shopkeeper looking bored at the other end of the store. You have no clue where the cereal comes from, but it's probably an import from somewhere else. Good food might the one thing Fantasia isn't known for producing.
You catch a glimpse of a newspaper left on a shelf that declares the date as the 11th. That's funny, you're pretty sure today would've been the 12th if it truly had been a dream.

It's a bit difficult to do that, seeing as the crowd is as busy as usual and bumping into people is practically inevitable, but you manage alright, and no one shoots you a second glance, fortunately.
Where do you want to go?

Selena starts to head to the markets to find some information in a book or from someone even though she hates to talk to people much.
