Maveric nodded. "Yeah, and she's a good distraction," he said, his voice low. He wasn't sure what Victor would do once he found out that Alaska was gone, but he knew it wouldn't be good. He continued watching the two, glad that Victor was smiling again

She whispered back, " I can't believe she would not only lie to him but just leave him here when he was weak... and then dare to blame me for it.. " Victor soon realized the Maria had fallen asleep beside him. He grinned and gently tucked her in with his blanket. Soon he himself fell asleep, his arm protectively around the child.

"Yeah. Welp, that's Alaska for you. She's too stubborn. Victor has always been there for her, and now she just packs up and leaves. And blames someone else for it." He shook his head. Alaska never had been anything but trouble.

She sighed but nodded " Poor Victor... he is going to be so heartbroken when we tell him. He is going to blame himself and say about how all of this was his fault.. He gives her his heart and she just has to go and break it. I wish she had never met him. "

"Wait, hold up. You can't tell him. He will be heartbroken and who knows what he would do. We have to keep it a secret for as long as possible. We can't let him know, alright? Do it for Victor's sake," Maveric pleaded with Rose

She nodded but she felt bad that she would be lying to her brother. " He is bound to ask to see her.. what should we tell him when he asks for her? Should we just send Victoria in instead? "

"I'm not sure. Will he be able to tell that Victoria isn't Alaska? That's the question. If he can, probably not. If he can, maybe. If we're unsure, then we find out. There has to be a solution to this problem." He thought for a little while. "We'll just say that Alaska is busy with something until we absolutely have to send Victoria in."

Again she nodded " Yeah I think that is the best idea. If worse comes to worse we send in Victoria and if not we just hope that he slowly forgets about her. " She was very clearly worried about her brother, she didn't want him to be hurt by this.

Maveric nodded in agreement. "Yeah. But the problem is, Alaska can't be busy with one thing for forever, so we need to come up with different things that she will be busy with. And I don't think we can say fighting zombies because then he will want to go fight, too."

" Then I think we should tell him about things that are time consuming and yet safe. Like cleaning the guns or repairing them, maybe trying to fix some rooms up. "
