Alaska wiped at her eyes as she left. Maveric came out and saw the kid. "Where'd the kid come from?" He asked Rose. Lani and Victoria decided to start teasing them again. "So, how'd it go? We noticed you locked the door, so..." Lani laughed. Alaska stopped right outside the door, saying, "see ya later." She slung her backpack over her shoulder, with her bat in her other hand. She felt really bad for leaving Victor when he was weak...he would've stayed by her side.

Rose:

" Victor said he heard her crying in an old building and brought her here because he didn't have the heart to leave her there my herself. " She started to blush hearing lani and Victoria, but said nothing

"That was sure kind of him to save her. I'm not sure any of us would've had the guts to leave her," he said, lowering his voice, "even Alaska." "You guys can't ignore us for forever, and Rose's face matches her name." Victoria snickered. Alaska found what seemed like a safe house, and she boarded up the broken windows with boards on the floor. She didn't hear the moan until too late. She dropped her backpack, grabbed her bat and turned around, slicing the zombie in the face. It got her good, though. She yelled at it and beat it until it was just about a pulp, then beat it some more.

Rose:

" Y-yeah.. Well she really wants to go see Victor but I am not sure if I should let her see him yet... " She tried to ignore them but it was slowly getting to her. " Alright fine it went well okay? "

Maveric continued ignoring the two. He had had plenty of practice with that. "Does she know what's going on? I don't think it would be the best for her mental health. She could sink into depression even at such a young age." Lani and Vicky snickered at Rose's response. "So we should have kept you two locked up longer, huh?" Alaska made sure that there weren't any more zombies around, then found a safe-ish room. The problem was, she was really late, but kept herself from panicking. This had happened before. Everything was fine.

Rose:

" She doesn't know.. She knows Victor got hurt and that is why she wanted to go see him in the first place. " She was started to turn even more red and began to become flustered " C-could you t-two stop? "

"Does he look any better than he did? If he does, I would let her, but keep the door open." Maveric said. Vicky and Lani noticed and laughed. "Why would we?" Maveric glared at them then said to Rose, "they just want a reaction, so just try not to react."

Rose:

She nodded and tried to ignore them as she spoke " Yeah I cleaned up most of the blood off him and he looks stable at least.. " She went and found Maria who smiled and went to visit Victor, but Rose made sure she left the door wide open. Maria hugged Victor gently and acted as if nothing had happened, even if she did seem worried.

Maveric watched the scene unfold. So far so good, but no telling what might come next. Lani and Victoria laughed to themselves but walked away, leaving them. They talked amongst themselves, trying to decide what to do to the two next.

Victor:

He smiled as Maria curled up beside him and he pulled out a story book. He started to read to the young girl, deciding he would do this every night so she would sleep peacefully. Rose walked back to Maveric " That went well, seemed to brighten up Victors mood. "
