"Wait, your brother?" She was stunned for a moment. She set him in the ground and stood. "I didn't do anything. A zombie got him." She still kinda hated her, but whatever. There were more important things on hand

Rose:

" Yes, my brother, the same one who even if hurt he didn't let you get a single scratch! " She yelled at her in anger. She quickly got to knees and looked over his wounds, and from the expression she made, it seemed as if all hope of him surviving was lost. She quickly cleaned the wounds, swearing under her breath. She was very mad at Alaska. Soon she had patched up the wounds as good as she could before she even if struggling carried Victor inside and set him down on a chair. Victor's eyes were half open, but he was unresponsive and he wasn't moving.

Alaska was by his side at all times. She would have said something mean in response but held her tongue. She noted to herself that this girl was definitely not on her good side. And probably never will be. She sat on the floor next to Victor's chair, and Lani came in. Vicky entered from the other room, carrying a dagger. "Woah," Victoria said, "what happened?" Lani asked, "Is he..." Victoria jabbed her in the ribs with her elbow and Lani finished with: "Is he gonna be okay?" Alaska had to vent on someone, and Victor was dead and Rose was closest. She muttered, "This is all your fault." She stood facing Rose. "This wasn't my fault, it was yours. These zombies probably followed you here. Way to go on killing your brother." Lani and Victoria got hurt from this and wondered how Rose would feel. Usually, she yelled at them, not in a calm voice. "Ouch," Victoria said, clutching her chest where her heart would be. Lani shoved her towards Alaska, telling her to calm her down. Or something.

Rose:

" I led them here? Last time I checked I came here alone followed by nothing. You are just upset because the one person who can deal with your rude arrogant self is my brother who doesn't look like he will even make it till sundown. I am not only unable to fight, but shouldn't even be walking. And yet I have enough care for my own damn family to go out there to help while you are acting careless and now he might as well be gone! As for me killing my brother, I am sure that if I had been fighting, I would be fighting along side him not trying to prove I can do it by myself because guess what? Unlike you, I know that I would die without help. If not for him, you'd be dead where you stand and you ****** know it well. " Victor was able to move slightly and shifted a little, but was still quiet.


( Somebodys mad...... )

"Yeah? Well last time I checked, zombies have gotten smarter than they were. Especially at night. And if you're looking for a lecture, I'd be happy to give you one. With my fists. It's short but deadly. And, if that doesn't work, I always have my bat. And how in the hell was I acting careless? The only careless one here is you. You didn't pay enough attention. And, by the way," she said, lowering her voice, "maybe you should learn how to fight. Even my sister can fight, and that's saying something. You can blame me all you want, but deep down inside, you know it's your fault. That's why you're denying it." She turned and left the police station. She would find a place she could survive on her own, without helpless people to drag her down. "Wait," Victoria called. "Where are you going?" "Away. You're welcome to come with, as long as you can pull your own weight." As she said it, she sneered at Rose.

Rose:

" Oh so once you do the damage you abandon him?! " She said angrily, at this point Victor had been able to get himself to speak and said " Can you two be... be quiet? " He rasped.. Rose froze.

Alaska jumped when she heard Victor speak. She was silent, following his wishes. She was still debating whether to leave or not. Victor was alive, but just barely. She shoved Rose out of the way so she could be closer to him. She held his hand in hers, still not speaking. In her ears, the silence was so loud

Victor:

He smiled at Alaska and weakly moved forward so he could hug her, he was clearly in a lot of pain and would be virtually useless for a long while. " I.. " He was having trouble speaking, but was managing. " I can't... can't see f-from my left eye.. " He paused for a moment and then asked, " L-Laska... are you alright darlin'? " He was worried for her even like this, where he might not see the next day.

She couldn't handle this right now...She nodded. "Yeah, I...I'm fine. You just rest and get better, okay?" She felt tears welling up in her eyes. She pulled away from him. "I....I'm gonna go for a little. I'll be back soon, alright?" She gave him a quick kiss and stood, going to her dorm first to get everything she needed. She left through the back door so Victor wouldn't have to see her leave.

Victor:

He smiled the brightest smile he could at the moment and said softly to her before she left, " Alright... Alaska... I love ya, darlin'. " Rose helped him to his dorm, she already knew that Alaska would likely not be returning. She would break the news to Victor soon. Rose made him something to eat and kept him company. Maria finally came out from hiding and wanted to go see Victor, but Rose didn't want the child to see him in this state.
