"Yes... oh! I think she moved!" he says excitedly, peering closer before continuing. "She's a small one, that's for sure. I can see little tufty ears too. Oh, I can't wait to properly meet her."
Skywhisper seems to be moving into the caring father role quite nicely. It seems like he's been waiting for a chance like this for a while.
"No problem, let me just collect my days earnings," Numbat says, his long ears perked up in excitement.
Crimson sits down in front of you, looking up intently. Sure! What is it?
"Help me find the others and tell them about this new development" I ask her, "please?"

Easier said than done, but you can at least cope with it.
You mine for what seems like hours in your little side tunnel, when you hear the scuffing of boots behind you and a friendly voice say: "What are you doing here, pal?"

The Centaur's eyes widen, and she snatches the food out of your hands and shoves the plush dragon in their place. "Thank you so much, friend," she says, handing the food over to a much smaller Centaur, a child. She jabbers something quickly to the little boy, placing the food in his hands, and he gallops off.
Knight gently takes the toy from your hands with the prehensile hands on the tips of his wings, hugging it to himself. He makes a friendly purr-sounding noise.
