Ashleigh

Basil caught her by surprise again! This second peck on her cheek he sneakily managed to give her while avoiding a return peck. And this time she covered the part he kissed with the claw he was holding. He effectively asked her to stay behind and she obeyed as if it was the thing to do.

"But I want to go with and help you." She finally replied pleading to the open space where Basil once stood; but he was gone.

She tried looking for him but to no avail. He was gone and he left her behind. Was he trying to protect her,or hide a secret from her. The only thing she did know was he promised to come back. So with that she decided to take his advice, plus a little of her mother's. She went into the bar and took the key for Basil's room to let herself in and returned it. She then went into his room and started warming his nest until he returned.

Ainsleigh & Tatsu

"Thanks." Ashleigh replied for them all to Lily. Already Fir was on the go and she had already started forward. Already her head was filled with leading this group to whatever end it led too. For the moment, she couldn't afford to worry about Fir's safe return; though she hoped after he left them, that he would be fine. Tatsu hulked up the gear on his back and followed after Fir and Ainsleigh. He hoped also that Lily would get a hold of Nina and Rose Petal and send them to them, through the shadow realm if they had too.

Damion Followed the cub smiling himself over the little ones enthusiasm " You seem rather excited I assume you two are really close friends?" he said trotting alongside him

Blue Smiled as she looked at the female lup before her " So, what caused you to stay here?" she asked casually

Damion had seemingly disappeared in thin air has presence no longer detectable to blue

Basil's nest was placed in the right corner, it had a few pillows and a blanket in it, although they had a few rips and tears in them. Above the nest was a small shelf that had a wooden figure on it and a small box, Basil used to carry the figure around when he was a child, it was one of the few things he owned back then. There was also an armor stand placed in the left corner, and some weapons leaning against the wall, which included a few swords, a spear, and an axe.

Lily sat down and closed her eyes for a second, they were glowing when she opened them, she turned her head around "Rose is outside, I don't see Nina yet" She replied, turning her head upwards "There also seems to be something flying around the guildhall... "
-

"Yep! We like to explore old ruins together, we once found this old temple, it had a huge glowing crystal inside of it. We would have explored it more but it was getting late, so we had to go home. I really want to go back there soon...."
-

"Well, I didn't really have a family to go to, and I didn't just want to leave this place. If I had people to help me, then this place could be turned into something useful. Maybe a farm? Plants seem to grow quite well here, most likely due to the high amounts of magic power from the many crystals located here, and whatever this thing is" She looked over to the rift, some kind of dark magic was resonating from it "Anyway, enough about me, what happened to you and your group? And does it have to do with your guild disappearing overnight?"

Tatsu & Ainsleigh

Tatsu grimaced. He wanted to moan audibly, but now was not the time. He shared a glance with Ainsleigh. She too noticed that the scent path Fir was following was leading straight back to Clockwork's lair. Unfortunately there were a lot of opportunities for zolnixi to veer off the path towards other known adventures so they needed to stick to tracking until they were totally certain it was the direction they were heading.

Ainsleigh decided to avert the subject by chatting with Tats about the other matter. "So how do you feel Ashleigh has fared growing up without us?"

It was a loaded question. "Not sure how you mean? She's grown into a fine flyer A, and a right purdy one at that."

"So you'd take her to nest?" Ainsleigh asked emotionless in appearance, though inside was brewing for a reason to tussle.

Tatsu rolled his eyes. "I won't even answer that silly question."

"Why not?" Ainsleigh asked. "We are ten years displaced from time. The fact she isn't blood kin continues to be relevant if we can't reverse what Clockwork did."

Tatsu wanted to ignore Ainsleigh at the moment. This was their daughter, adopted or not. In the mountains they had a maidens hut for a situation like that. But Ainsleigh was a desert raised draeyl, and the females had to be defeated in combat to prove yourself fit to breed. "Let's change the subject." He stated.

Ainsleigh said "Okay, do you think Basil is fit for Ashleigh?"

Tatsu groaned audibly.

Ashleigh

Basil's room was pretty much what she expected it to be, fairly spartan; though his cherished things sitting someplace he could get at easily. She left his things alone and approached his nest nervously. He had many pillows and she had to sniff about to identify which one's he found the most comfortable. She pulled aside the tattered rag he had for a blanket, turned to see if anyone was coming to investigate why she had come in there. Then after a few harrowing minutes of doubt and embarrassment. She stepped into his nest and lay over his pillows rubbing her body against them for a few moments to rub her scent into the fabric. Once she was comfortable, she lay there for several minutes inhaling Basil's scent from the nest unable to go to sleep. She picked up his tattered blanket and held it to her nostrils. The fabric barely felt like a sheet it was so threadbare.

"How could he be comfortable in the winter with this?" She thought, then she had an idea that she thought rather risky. Climbing out of the nest, she went quietly over to the door and held her tympanum to the door. When it was completely quiet, she carefully opened the door, looked both ways and padded over to her room and fetched her comforter. It was her very favorite blanket and she blushed at the thought of sharing it with Basil. She bundled it under her arm, and went back out to return to Basil's room

Blue nodded " To be Honest I was thinking the same... It has Much potential, and there does seem to be something rather odd about the rift... might be worth checking out..." she said. Though she knew it was not her place she felt that She would be a valuable addition to the guild, not to mention she may be key to linking them to what happened to the children.

Damion Nodded " is that so... Well think that could be arranged " he said before catching a slight whif of a familiar scent.

Tomen finally managed to crawl out of his shadowy hole at the entrance where he started near the bones and sat patiently staring into the woods.

Hey, I might not be able to reply for awhile, the Internet on my computer isn't working and i'd rather wait for now then use my phone to reply

So I guess this could be considered a mini hiatus. I'll reply once the problem is fixed. Until then, Goodbye

"At times like these I wish the bigger guilds were still around, now there's only a few smaller guilds left, hell, even the council of knowledge broke apart after what happen. If they were still around I could look through the guild libraries to try find out what this thing is, and why our world broke apart... There's so many things I don't know, and the things I do know don't get me far" She rambled on, stopping to take a deep breath "I've found out that things that touch this 'rift' disappear, I've learned that since it opened up the Vulynx tribes that live east of here suddenly became active after years of hiding. Right before it opened up the world shattered to pieces, and afterwards the guilds started fighting with each other because of rivalries that had been settled centuries ago. And that for some odd reason, enemies which guilds thought they had dealt with long ago have been popping up again, only breaking apart the guilds more. All these things have been happening over the span of just ten years! Ten years! And the more I think about it the more I notice how connected these events are, it's obvious that someone of great power wants the guild to be destroyed, but why?!" She started to breath heavier "...Oh to the gods..." She mumbled under her breath, her expression showed that she had just realized something, she quickly got up from her place on the floor, running out of the room as fast she could
-

Willow had yawned multiple times over the last few minutes, she began to blink slower, as if it would help her stay awake "I'm going to go take a walk outside, once you get this settled you all need to go back to the guildhall..." She states, standing up and stretching out her limbs before making her way out of the room
-

An odd Nytekrie landed right in front of Ainsleigh, it kept repeating the same thing "Tick, Tock, Tick, Tock...." it's voice was quiet, it sounded almost scared. Although it looked as though it was a statue, as it hardly moved an inch since it landed. It suddenly raised it's claw up showing a rolled up message in it's grasp, it carefully placed it on Ainsleigh's snout, almost as if feared her. It put it's claw down, sitting in front of her, still as a brick wall, filling the air with quiet chants "Tick, Tock, Tick, Tock..."

Ainsleigh & Tatsu

Ainsleigh expected that Tatsu wouldn't reply. Fir was making good time, confirming that they were going to the dungeon again. She was a little irritated that relying upon Lily had yet to find Nina or Rose and get them heading in this direction.
She could've spit nails and flay open the bark from every tree that passed right now, save that it would give away their position.

Tatsu could tell that Ainsleigh was bothered about something. Either the ryoris or Blue Jay and Tomen might be the source of the consternation, but it wasn't his concern to read her mind; he just needed to breach the emotional wall it was building. "Yes, I think Basil is very good for Ashleigh." He responded. He was rewarded with the turning of her head and her appearance changed with the breaking of the irritation.

The clockwork nytekrie landed with a thud. That was the best way to describe the sound it's landing had made. Beyond the initial surprise from the landing, Ainsleigh and Tatsu were rather calm. Clockwork beasts were fascinating, although they couldn't understand the technology. Ainsleigh stood stock still, looking cross-eyed trying to focus on the scroll balancing on her nose. She was certain of one thing, this clockwork nytekrie was very dexterous to so easily balance the scroll as it had. Her first impression was that the thing was a creation of Clockwork himself, and that was slightly unsettling.

Thanks to that pause, Tatsu took advantage and took the scroll off Ashleigh. He stepped ahead of his mate on her right side, unfurled the scroll and held if where they could easily viewit's contents...

Ashleigh

Odd. Nobody had strolled down the hallway. Nobody's attention was gotten at her padding around back and forth from Basil's nest to hers. Her mind was pacing back and forth about the merits and discrediting of what she chose to do. She had stalled in the hallway for quite sometime. Steeling herself to the fact that she was staking her claim. Her blanket now managed to get pulled over her head like the hood of a patch-quilt cloak and she turned the knob to desecrate Basil's bachelor pad with her own musky scent.

What would Riker and Apollo say if... When they found out what she was doing?
