"But with nobody to man the power stations, that could go down at any time," David persisted.

He sighed but nodded, understanding what he had meant with that. ' You're right, they could go down at any time.. but we need to collect gas right after we get the generator running. I think the one here runs off gas which will be great since we can collect it. We could have this place warmed in the winter and cooled in the summer, charge electonics, and even cook hot meals all the time.. But, we will need to guard this place and the generator even better. Don't want raiders to take it over or steal the generator. "

A bloodthirsty grin twisted Darius' face as he brandished his pistol. "I would like to see them try," he said, as if waiting for the day it happened.

That scared Victor slightly but he shook it off, this only meant if anything happened David would happily be taking care of it. He grabbed his pipe, a screw driver, and a flashlight just in case. " Where to? "

"Easy, man. Wait until morning. You said it yourself, it's best to wait until morning," David said.

Victor:

He nodded and went to relax, petting his dogs soft coat as he started to doze off for the first time that night. He seemed so peaceful like that, as if he had forgotten the hardships of this new world. His breathing slowed and he seemed to fall asleep within seconds.
