Jay had his beak wide open at this point, as shocked as any of the others by what he'd done. "H-how should I know? Maybe...this one?" He pointed to a small notch at the top corner of the keyboard. It didn't look like anything special but he was pretty sure his foot stumbled somewhere in that direction. After another second, Jay held both wings up in a blue-feathered shrug. "Either way, we might as well explore that room. Do you want to go in together?" he asked as he swooped down to land on Scarlet's shoulders.

"Sure," Scarlet answers, "but you're scouting since you pressed the button. It's only fair."
Scarlet knew she was being slightly unfair but Jay had pressed more than one button by that point.

Jay winced but he knew that he deserved Scarlet's words. "Alright. I'll keep my eyes very open and not touch anything this time," he promised even if it was a promise he was likely to break at some point. He did want to try his best for his friends. As they started toward the room, he hesitated again. "Should we wait to make sure the others are ready too? I think once we go down there, there's no going back." Not just because the exit had closed but because he sensed that something monumental lay beyond.

"Alright let's wait then," Scarlet sits down calmly and unhappily. Her nerves were on end even though she tried not to show it. She felt a bit sorry for Jay but at the same time he had deserved her harsh words.

Grey and Hunter caught up. "I'm so sorry we fell behind." Grey apologized for the two of them. "Hunter got a bit distracted."
"Not my fault, you got distracted with me." Hunter mumbles, sitting down next to Scarlet. Grey was relentlessly pacing.
"Right, I got distracted... After you." Grey growls slightly.

"Enough of your bickering," Scarlet growls. She was fully on edge and not willing to take chances when it came to the group's saftey. "Jay can you explain what you sense please?"

August let out a short huff, fluttering down from the keyboard and alighting on Scarlet's shoulder. "I'm ready when you all are."

Mrs. Mouse stopped behind one of Gray's paws, giving her a soft tut. "It's alright since there was a lot going on just now. I'd honestly like to look through the computer more, but..." Looking into the strange new room, she couldn't deny that this was a strange and lucky chance to learn more. "The opening is human-sized though so why don't Jay and Scarlet go in first. We can't very well all charge in together!"

Jay huffed at that. "A-alright. If Scarlet isn't too scared," he said in lieu of saying he might be a bit nervous. "And well, I can't say what I sense in words. It's just...this is important. Isn't it about time we reach the climax of our story and find some answers? That's the kind of thing I'm thinking about and it's making me seriously anxious so hurry it up already!" He took off in flight, finally passing through the opening without waiting for Scarlet or August or any of the others to come with him.

Scarlet walks in after Jay, she sniffs the air slightly worried. She wasn't sure why but this place made her feel nervous or maybe it was just that she was picking up on Jay's nerves. "What do you think August? Do you think this is where the witch hid the way out?"

August's feathers ruffed up in slight discomfort as he considered the question. "...Well, this place strikes me as more of a command hub," He commented. "That said, knowing this place exists here this is valuable information that may come in handy."
