Malak followed Elysetta down the hallway that led to their room. He was relieved to find that there were two beds, but his entire focus became centered on the food as soon as he entered. He quickly walked to one of the chairs, sat down and began loading a plate with food. After he took a few bites he looked up to see Elysetta sitting on the far bed with her back towards him.
"Are you alright?" he asked worriedly.

The merchant pulled out a dagger and put it on display. "Three Fairs for one dagger," he told you.
Your companion seemed less than thrilled to be visiting a weapons merchant. She kept one eyebrow cocked at your question. "I do have a weapon, but they're hidden right now," she answered.

The pixie didn't reply at first, just scoffed and stretched out her unbroken wing and started plucking the loose feathers from it. They floated onto the ground lightly. After a few minutes of doing this, she did respond. "You confuse me, Malak Khaleel. And you have the memory of a peanut," she sighed.

Lisette gave the dagger and its price some thought. She hoped that she wouldn't be hurting at a loss if she bought the dagger, and that the dagger would prove useful. "I'll take it, thank you," she said, taking out her pouch of Fairs to purchase it.
"Oh, that's interesting," Lisette remarked. She wondered what kind of weapon Niche used, or how she fared in combat. Something told her that if conflict arose, it would be interesting, though Lisette didn't like being at the heart of it unless it was necessary. "Fair enough. I think I'm done here."
As they walked away from the weapons merchant, Lisette continued to speak with Niche. "Do you think we need to pick up food before we leave? I have enough for myself, and we can hunt and gather later if we need anything, but we can buy some food for you if you feel like you need any."

This was another one of those situations, like many Malak had found himself in after he left home, where he was made painfully aware of how little he understood the world that existed outside of what little he had known growing up. Elysetta's behavior puzzled him, and the idea that he had done something to upset her bothered him more than he liked admitting.
"I'm sorry," he said to her, "Clearly I have made some sort of obvious error. Care to enlighten me?" He took another bite of food while he waited. No sense in just letting it sit there while it got cold...

You did find a kind of large crack in the ground. What do you wish to do?
Tear at it (Sorry, I'm not so good at the massive paragraphs)

The weapons merchant took the money and gave the dagger in exchange. As you walked away from the merchant, Niche shook her head. "I have unusual eating habits, you don't need to concern yourself over it," she dismissed.

She turned to face you, her expression bitter. "Well, you've been ticking me off all day, but right now I'm mostly concerned with the fact that you forgot I'm allergic to, and repulsed by, meat," she reminded you.

(It's fine lol.)
You tear at the ground, and make a little hole in it. The rumbling had stopped, but the ground gave way to a hole. What do you wish to do?
a) Look inside
b) Leave
c) Ignore it
d) Drop inside

"Ah, if you say so." Lisette was a little worried about Niche, but she hoped that whatever eating arrangements they had would work out in the end, wanting to save up her Fairs just incase.

Lisette still had to figure out where to go from town. Unsure of where to go, she consulted Niche, who probably knew more about the town than she did. "I don't suppose you'd know where to get a map?" she asked, a bit apologetic to bother her once more.
