The only reason Skywhisper managed to get up was because his talons could hook into the bumpy, ridged bark - as there weren't any low-growing branches. You try to scrabble up the side but inevitably fail.

Skywhisper pokes his head out of the side of the tree, clacking his beak in amusement. "You need help?"

"Uh.. yes," I admit.

The female smiles. "Good. It's in the warehouse district, of course. The biggest one, with a tiled roof and brick walls. You can't miss it. You'll have a hundred or so crates to burn in four seperate places in the warehouse, so you'll have to set the piles on fire one by one. Soon as you get them going, the whole place should follow afterward. There shouldn't be any security - I'll have my men distract the guards so you can slip in and slip out in the following chaos."

She hands you a satchel filled with vials. Some are glowing with various things inside them, others just have a black, oily substance in them. Hellhound's Breath and Firebottles.

Delirious clutches the satchel close to her chest, she was right to assume that this woman was dangerous. If she had her own men who knows what she was capable of, Delirious was relieved that she hadn't attempted to snatch anything from her stall. She knew it wouldn't have ended well.

"Thank you miss, I'll be back in a few."

Delirious waved sharply and trotted off through the stalls in the direction that she believed the warehouses were. As she moved along she made sure to tie her hair back in a loose bun so it wouldn't get in her way when she got there.

"N. That'll do," Balthur said. "Talking about names... what do you think we should call this Wyvern? Seriously though... I don't think he'll live Grumpy down. Though it does suit him perfectly," he says under his breath.

The Wyvern growls, but carried on down the road.

It's pretty long - it feels like hours before you finally make it up to the front desk.

"Welcome to the mines," the Dwarf there says flatly. "I'll need some information from you before you can get to work. Before we do that though, a miner spends 12 hours a day at work and earns 100 gold coins from that. We supply a bunk for all of our miners, breakfast and a mug of ale, nothing more. Do you still want to take this job?"

He squeaks, jumping in fright and whirling round. He takes off the small hat he has on his head politely. "Sorry ma'am, just got a little scare is all," he blurts. He then seems to take in what you've said. "Help? Oh. Yes. Yes please. I'm trying to set this stand up so I can perform... it's just a bit rusted is all. If you would please try to set it up for me, I'd be very grateful."

"No worries, I've got you," he says cheerfully, reaching out his talons for you to grab on. He pulls you up onto one of the lower branches, so now you can make it up on your own. "The sack makes for good nesting material. With our body heat, the egg will incubate nicely."

He looks contemplative. "When it does hatch," - you note he says when, and not if, like the egg distributor had said - "will you name it, or will I?"

"Huh. Yeah....um...." Guardian? Mastermind? Nicote was trying to think of something that wasn't the name of a griffin familiar of someone he knew. Becauase that would be weird and would be awkward if he met them at some point.

It's safe to assume that if she had her own men, then she's in a clan - and that could potentially mean that what you're doing is playing a part in a clan rivalry. But the female had said that what was going on was 'bigger than you think'. It's suspicious for sure - but you're only in on it for a bow. It shouldn't need to go any further than that... right?

You reach the warehouse district in a few minutes. It's just where you remembered it to be - many Centaurs played out here as kids. The place where rich Higher Creatures from afar would build warehouses where ruthless and unquestioning guards were cheap and goods could come in and out without question or investigation - corrupt for sure, but it did get money flowing through Thatchburg, and was working towards developing the town further.

The road splits here. The female hadn't mentioned that - and you can't see any warehouses of her description from where you're standing. Do you want to go left or right?
