'I guess she doesn't like handshakes,' Lisette thought to herself, withdrawing her hand. 'At least she's not too opposed to the idea.' She nodded. "Well, it's nice to meet you, Niche." She looked out towards the rest of the town.
"I was going to look around town some more, see if I could get any information about the surrounding lands or pick up a few things before I head out. I'm honestly new to...Gilador, was it? So unless you have a specific place you want go to, I'm going to figure out what our next destination should be."

Malak accepted the clipboard, though he barely understood most of what he was filling out.
He handed both the clipboard and the Fairs back to the dwarf and took the tickets from her.
"Thank you, madam," he said to her, and turned towards Elysetta, "Shall we?" He indicated for her to lead the way.

Your companion nodded briskly and led the way to the indicated inn room. She opened it and walked inside. There were two small beds inside, as well as a table with chairs and platters with a roasted duck and beef strips on it. Elysetta immediately went to the far bed and sat down on it, completely disregarding the food.

Lisette walked with Niche towards the weapons merchant, attempting to make small talk as they went across town. "So, Niche, what do you do? Do you know your way around a sword, or know any magic? Or anything like that?" She felt it was necessary to assess what Niche could do before they headed out.

As you head through the desert, you start to feel a deep rumbling underneath the ground. What do you wish to do?
She dropped to the ground and felt it, try to see if there were any cracks so could tear up encase it was an underground spring

(Ohh, forgot you don't know about that xD. Currently, all new characters are being on hold as far as front page goes until I finish the mega-thread and get to take all of that excess off of first post, since I ran out of characters on it xD.)
The woman clenched and unclenched her jaw. She didn't seem particularly prone to answer any questions, but she did regardless. "I prefer melee, actually," she replied simply.
You reached the weapons merchant, a scraggly young man with a fine selection of wares. "Anything catch your eye?" he asked with a grin.

"I see," Lisette said, trying to get a feel for talking with her new companion. She had many questions to ask, but she didn't want to bother Niche too much if she wasn't comfortable to answer them.
She looked at the weapons on display. She pondered buying some sort of a blade, in the case that she couldn't use magic or needed something sharp to cut with. "How much for a dagger, sir?"
"Oh, Niche." Lisette turned to her companion. "You mentioned you do melee combat. Do you have a weapon already?"
