The woman sighed and ran a hand across her chose-shaven head. "I suppose I just need something to do. I've been dormant in this town for too long," she shrugged and looked away, irritated.

Lisette chuckled sympathetically. "I feel you there. I spent most of my life in a town like this one, itching to get out. And that's how I got here." She offered her hand towards the lady. "My name's Lisette. I'm gonna be leaving Ilamoor in a bit, as soon as I figure out where to go. You're welcome to join me. I like traveling in company."

(Okay so forget the thing about the close-shaved head; wardrobe does not comply xD.)
The woman started to laugh at the implication. There was something... strange... about her laugh. "I hardly know anything about you. You might sooner stab me in the back than help me," she reasoned. The more you looked at her, the more... animalistic she seemed.

Once again Malak was struck by the amiable nature of the dwarven people. He nodded at the dwarf at the counter, standing casually with his hands behind his back.
"Yes," he said, "We are looking to book a room for the night. I confess to never having tried duck before but I look forward to the pleasure." He glanced at Elysetta. "As does my companion I'm sure." Hopefully that would take care of any suspicions about their relationship.

The pixie dropped her mouth open slightly in indignation are your comment regarding her. Then, she closed her mouth and glanced away just as bitterly as before.
The dwarf's smile widened even more. "It is truly a delicacy! Now, that'll be 15 Fairs per room. Will you be renting one or two?" she questioned.

"That's true, I don't know anything about you either, so this must seem weird, for a stranger to suddenly ask you out on an adventure." She didn't want to admit that she was unnerved by the woman's snide replies. However, Lisette kept smiling and persisting, because she felt like she could relate to her, someone who possibly needed some friendliness and a bit of change in their life. "But I have no reason to stab you in the back, and I'd be happy to help you, no strings attached. You can choose whether or not to believe me, and you don't have to come with me if you don't want to. But the offer's still there, since I'm leaving anyway."

Malak seemed completely oblivious to Elysetta's reaction. The thought of being so close to a proper meal was keeping him quite distracted. He smiled once again at the dwarf at the counter.
"I cannot wait," he said regarding the food, before turning his attention to the matter of paying for their board.
He only had so many Fairs in his pockets, if he paid for two rooms that would leave them with nothing, which did not seem very wise. "One room will be fine." Surely the room would come with more than one bed...

The woman handed you a clipboard with some paperwork on it. "Alrighty, just fill out this paperwork and hand me the Fairs. There will be duck and beef waiting in your room for you," she told you and handed you two room tickets. "Number 23," she added.

Lisette held up her hands again in surrender again, laughing softly. "Ah, I told you, I'm Lisette." And again, she reached her hand out towards the woman with a smile. "Full name's Lisette Ariat. I have a bit of experience under my belt for exploring, but this is my first real adventure. And how about yours?"
