I finally figured out what bugged me so much about the wings on the male. It's that the trailing end of the wing/secondaries meets the armpit. Maybe the wing could be brought out a bit on the trailing end without obstructing the back too awful much?
Here's a sketch I made; as a very visual person, I've never been able to use words to explain things very well.

Hope you don't mind the little anatomy nitpick!
I still can't get over how utterly adorable the hatchlings are. ;w;

One thing that struck me immediately was that the male's tail feathers seem to sprout directly from his head, which can be fixed by nudging it abit to the left. I would also suggest making the eyes of the adults smaller in order to make them look larger in body, maybe even change the eye shape itself. Otherwise I love the new art, I especially like how well done the feet and talons were drawn.

It looks like the male has two toes (dont know what to call them) on each foot and the female three. the female version looks more natural in my opinion

The new designs look great! They remind me of griffins now. The proportions make them look larger; I wish I could ride one! And that baby female is ridiculously fluffy and cute.
There are a couple minor things: I see that the feet have been same on the male now as the female (whereas before they were much larger), but I think both could stand to have just somewhat larger feet? I like the large talons that make them look a bit fierce.
Also, something's changed in the baby male's expression. Maybe it's just a bit too sweet? The old one looks playful, maybe even mischievous.
But overall, a huge improvement!
Edit: after seeing other opinions, I think they have a point in that Nytes should look more fierce and battle-ready.

I think I'd like to see at least one of the adults with the wings fully extended, perhaps in the middle of a downstroke as it tries to get off the ground. The other birds, Aurleons, has the male landing so this one taking off would be nice. Plus it's easier to see how new markings work out before picking them.

I need a million of these fluffbirds now. <3 They are so cute.
I agree with what others have said about the male. Moving the end of his tail back away from his head might help somewhat, I think, as well as making it just slightly thinner where it curves away from his body. The closer wing, especially on the feathers, seems a little.. stiff? I'm not sure of the word. But compared to his other wing and to the female's wings, it looks a bit too uniform. Maybe spread the feathers out slightly so that the lines aren't all quite so uniformly parallel, and give the inner edges a but more detailing/shape. Showing a bit of the 3rd claw on his forefeet would help too, since it does look as if he has only 2 right now. Although, looking at the babies, they also seem to have only 2 claws on the front feet? XD
I do think the female's, with 3 claws on the front, does look a little better. The female's pose is really nice. The male's is nice too, but in comparison it does feel more static. I think shifting the front foot that's further from the viewer or the back foot that is further away could help, possibly. ^^
