"C'mon, Lani!" Maveric shoved Lani into the room with the lock, quickly getting the piece of bed. Lani jumped at every bang that sounded throughout the house. "Wait, but what are you doing?" She asked Maveric. "I'm going to try and avenge our father." He was actually going to go in with them, but for now, he was staying out here. "When I yell, open the door quickly, okay?" "Wait, what?" Lani asked. "You can't! Get in here." She pulled him by the collar of his shirt into the room.

Victor got into the room after the siblings did and closed the door, locking it quickly. He looked to the back window of the room and was afraid that there would be a problem with a zombie getting in through there.. then the banging stopped after they had found a way in... there was clearly at least a total of 3 of the creatures in the house. He was trying not to panic but was very afraid.. Then he remembered his little dog was still out in the kitchen asleep in it's bed. " You two I need to go back out there... I left Roger out.. " He said with deep fear creeping into his voice. He wouldn't be leaving that dog out there. " Look if I get bit finish me off quickly.. " He said as without another word he left the room with a swift movement back was quiet closing and relocking the door.. he slowly started to make his way to the kitchen.

Before Lani could respond, Maveric told her to stay put. Victor would have better chances of surviving if someone was out there, helping him. Maveric exited the room, his weapon ready. Lani was about to speak before he closed the door, going out to help Victor.

Slowly he crept across the living room, the creatures there were disgusting looking, flesh hanging off of them and really bloodied. He tried to ignore them and the scent they carried as he moved forward in slow steady movements.. he noticed one second before it happened that he was standing directly behind one but it didn't notice him. Slowly, he backed up making sure he made little to no noise knowing that if he did he was a goner. He moved slowly and was almost to the kitchen when one of them heard him and lunged at him. He resisted screaming because he refused to have the other peoples worrying for him or worse more of them locating him.. He tried to fight off the fiend but he couldn't.. he could only fight them off good enough so he wasn't hurt or worse infected but he would only be able to hold out for so long and he knew this fact very well, so well in fact he thought that any moment now his grip would slip.

Maveric saw that Victor was in trouble, so he stabbed the sharp side of the bed frame into the zombie's side, pulled it out and used the dull side to club it in the head. He motioned for Victor to go

Victor shoved the body off of him, but made sure it didn't hit the floor too loud. He nodded in thanks to Maveric and continued slowly. He entered the kitchen and just as he thought the small dog was asleep in it's bed. He picked up the small dog and slowly exited the kitchen making his way back to the room. He tried to stay quiet as he knew that if he didn't this time he might not be so lucky. Soon he got back to the room and gently knocked, loud enough for only a person could hear.

Maveric was right behind Victor. Lani opened the door just a little to make sure it was them, then opened the door all the way so that they could get in. Maveric let Victor go in first, then went in himself. He rubbed the edge of his shirt on the sharp part, which was now covered in blood.

Victor sat quietly on the edge of the bed, petting his little dog who seemed to be confused about these new people. Victor seemed to calm down greatly wit the little dog in his arms and he also seemed to almost be able to fall asleep, but he knew he should be staying up to keep a watch if it was needed.

WARNIG! GORE! and cheesy
Milliken faced her father, he was bitten. Tears were staining her cheaks, her heart was beating in her ears. Milliken was backed up into a corner, a hatchet was in her grip. The zombie dad was gurgling as it drew near. When in range she swung at its reaching arm. She lashed out at its head and stomach. Blood covered the walls, the blade, and her face. The intestines covered the carpet in a bloody heap. With a final blow and a mighty crack, the zombies skull was crushed. (Now this remindes me of a history report.)
Milli looked down at the limp body, she shook her head. The tears were drying up. "Sorry, Dad.", She whispered, grabing the lump, draging it out to the gaurden. She tossed it into the pit with the other zombie bodies. (She's already killed three.) Milliken whiped the blood onto her jeans. "I need to change out of this.", She grumbled pulling off the hoody, revealing a yellowed tank-top.
After changing she slimbed up to the attic, to watch for passing survivers. Her blue eyes where growing cold, with surviver's guild. She whiped the blood from her trusty hatchet, waching the clouds roll past.

Maveric seemed to read his mind and said, "I can keep watch. Lani, you can go back to sleep, if you want," he whispered. Lani smiled humorlessly. "Good luck with that," she whispered back. Maveric pressed his ear to the door, listening for any shuffling. If there was a zombie right outside of the door, he could open the door and stab them all in one motion, but so far so good.
