"Your phone shorted out most likely," Scarlet answers, "Umm what if we did a penpal thing? It would be intresting since we'd write to each other but it could work."

"Fun and interesting idea. I haven't had mail in forever. No one decides to write. It's fun recieving stuff in the mail." Hunter says.

Scarlet chuckles, "I suppose it is. Besides if we ever get out of here you'll get mail I promise.'

"Score! I have the bestest friends in the world! You guys are amazing." Hunter says to Scarlet and Jay.

Scarlet smiles trying to keep her calm while the rain outside falls, "Thanks."

"Well, I guess I am good at remembering numbers so I guess it's alright. Let's just focus on the getting out of here part though." Gazing past the craggy rocks, he realized that the rain was slacking off. He could still see the patter of water on the ground, but it was much more manageable now. "Do you think the rain is stopping? Besides, you're making me feel old. I have to pay my own phone bill!"

"Alright," Meloriea sighed, her smile still tacked onto her face but far less sweet, like she wasn't impressed with her current charge. "A parrot should be in a suited environment though, not traipsing about wherever. It would be so much easier if things would just stay put." Still, they were making quick work through the terrain as a few rooms started to appear around them, halls branching out with trees growing far more plentiful. It was much like the area August had first appeared in.

Mrs. Mouse chuckled at the way Dew looked around. "You're such a bright person. I'm glad we met. Ah, but there's no point and just sticking around here. We should get moving before trouble comes and finds us!" Tilting her nose up to the sky, she closed her eyes and breathed in deep before turning toward the east. "This way."

"I agree the storm seems to be letting up," Scarlet agrees, "Should we make a run for it now rather then wait? Jay will you still be able to navigate if we make a run for it now?"

August pinned his eyes in satisfaction. "Well, that would be boring, now wouldn't it? Your job would be too easy" He noticed, spreading out his wings and taking to the trees. "Thank you very much ma'am." He called out before alighting on an out of sight perch in the canopy.

Grey silently offers Mrs. Mouse a ride, briskly trotting to the east.

"Sorry for making you feel old." Hunter appologizes. "I didn't mean it like that." He says, shuffling his paws as he looked out to find the rain was giving a little.
"I don't know if there is an eye to this storm or no. If there is an eye of the storm, then we should stay put. If there is no eye of the storm, we're free to go." Hunter says.

"How would we tell if this is the eye of the storm or not," Scarlet asks quietly.
She was nervous enough without having the storm try and trick her.
