(We'll see. And tread carefully with this smart cookie - you can already tell she's dangerous >:d)
It feels solid when you tap it, definitely a trait of a Stonewood tree. It is dry and smooth... it has to be what she says it is. And there is no mistaking Amberthread.
"Ah, and we come to the payment," she drawls. "Well then, I have something I really need a stranger to do. It involves a good load of trust, of course." She taps the table, squinting at you. "When you complete this... task, for me - well, I would give you a blood oath that you would return to receive this bow and a quiver full of arrows."
I'll be careful, but I might mess up quite soon!! Let's hope I don't get into a really bad situation I can't get out of.

Delirious stares at her in surprise, something like this would probably cost quite a lot or quite a large favour. Delirious looks down at the longbow again and then back up at her before asking another question.
"What sort of, task?"

Seems fine. The bag is made of thick, sturdy cloth that doesn't appear to be fraying yet.
Skywhisper takes it and pads over to the tree, climbing up onto a thick and sturdy branch before raising his front talons to the bark and starting to scratch. It should take a while, but not too long.
You feel a little hungry, the days journey weighing down on you. Maybe you could eat something while he works.

"Down to the canal, where I have a few crates to pick up and transport to the Lonely Harbour at the islands," Balthur says, climbing up to the drivers seat and sitting down awkwardly. "You can come if you like - there should be a couple of stalls down there with all sorts of things."

Crimson playfully stalks through the undergrowth as you go, staying out of sight, periodically jumping out and scaring you.
It's not long before you reach the edge of a clearing, the sounds of civilisation loud here.
So do I stay here then? Crimson asks.

(How does a little bit of fire sound? c:<)
"I need a firestarter," she says, looking you dead in the eyes. "There's a warehouse nearby, owned by... well, let's just say someone who is more questionable than me. The goods in there must be destroyed at all costs - do you hear me? It's bigger than you think. Everything. Must. Burn. I can supply Hellhound's Burn and a few explosive Firebottles, all you have to do is get in, do your fiery thing, and get out. You come by me then you disappear. Clear?"

Welp, I guess I'm here to cause as much trouble as possible and fire probably doesn't bother me... probably. So, I guess we're going with fire!! Whether or not it ends up being a horrible mistake.

Delirious stares straight back into the woman's eyes as she finishes speaking, she didn't want to look like she was intimidated by the potentially dangerous woman. This might actually end up working quite well for her, scoring an amazing bow just for lighting some place on fire?
"Well I was planning on disappearing by tomorrow, so that works for me. Can I get an address, approximate land area and maybe security? If there is any that is."

The female smiles. "Good. It's in the warehouse district, of course. The biggest one, with a tiled roof and brick walls. You can't miss it. You'll have a hundred or so crates to burn in four seperate places in the warehouse, so you'll have to set the piles on fire one by one. Soon as you get them going, the whole place should follow afterward. There shouldn't be any security - I'll have my men distract the guards so you can slip in and slip out in the following chaos."
She hands you a satchel filled with vials. Some are glowing with various things inside them, others just have a black, oily substance in them. Hellhound's Breath and Firebottles.

I take out my bread loaf and cut it into six, then eat one slice.
