Rose:

She winced a little as he moved his foot, even if only a little and gently. " I hope it isn't too bad. " she said quietly, a little embarrassed by how weak she must of seemed at this moment. She didn't like seeming weak, she preferred to be seen as strong.

"Well, you got pretty lucky, actually. Spiral fractures are usually the kind that stick out of your leg. And for you to be able to walk on it and tough it out? That's very few. But you will have to stay off that ankle for about a month."

Rose:

She sighed loudly, very aggrivated " Whhhy did I have to break it! How am I going to have to stay off of it for an entire month? Now I won't be able to do anything at all for a very long while.. " She mumbled, clearly very upset about this.

"Hey now. Just calm down. I know how you feel. Helpless. I've gone through the same thing. And anyway, that's what I'm for. I can help you get around and do stuff. And I might be able to find crutches. Might. I can go look now-" he cut off as he tried to open the door. "Did I close this?" He tried to get it 'unjammed' but it was impossible. "Never mind, then. I won't look for crutches."

Rose:

She sighed and nodded, deciding she could do nothing about this. She then saw him as he tried to open the door but it wouldn't budge. " Oh no.. we are stuck aren't we? " She said with a worried and scared tone to her voice. " What happened? Does it usually do that? " She asked as she looked at the door, hoping that maybe it was just slightly jammed.

( Oof I have an idea... Maveric forgot a blanket.. he and Rose have to cuddle to keep warm xd )

(Yeah, forgot as in hid it somewhere nobody but himself would never find it xD)

Maveric debated whether to lie or tell the truth. "Um, no. It doesn't usually do this. It's probably just really jammed." He shrugged. He usually took his shirt off to sleep, but wasn't sure whether she would be okay with that, so he just left it on.

Rose:

She nodded and tried to calm down, laying down and trying to sleep, it was an oddly cold night for being summer and she being so petite was getting cold easily. She tried to ignore it, not wanting to be a bother. She was shivering a little, but she knew she could deal with it for the night, or so she hoped she could.

He noticed her shivering. He waited a little while, but eventually he walked over, got in the bed next to her and pulled her close, her back against his chest. "You seemed a little cold. Sorry I don't have a blanket, I must have forgotten it. And, I would go get you one, but the door is kinda stuck." He tried his best not to start nuzzling her neck

Rose:

At first she was shocked at this and jumped a little but soon relaxed, she cuddled into him slightly, enjoying the warmth. She grinned and said " It's alright, this is just as good. " her voice was small and she sounded tired, but content. She shifted so she was sideways and rested her head against his chest. " You're super warm Maveric.. "

Maveric was silent at first then came up with, "It's because I have my shirt on. I usually take it off, so I'm warmer than usual tonight." That was mostly true
