It only answer with a hissing sound, earning a frighten sound from the worker. The Number then procead to drop from the sealing as indicated by the clicking of it's claws on the ground as it head toward you.

"Umm..." I slowly back away from it.

The men yelp, reaching for his flashlight. " I-it's coming ! Why did you talk to it ?"

On his side the Number was staring at you, leaving it's fangs shows thrue the vail while grinning. It was apparently enjoying causing fear.

It seem like whatever was with you in the room had the hability to desactive them at will, explaining why there was so many cameras in the facility.

Zaylee scanned over the cameras one last time, watching the red light flicker weakly. After a few seconds she finally looked away and approached the people talking in the kitchen across the room, hoping that they could provide some more information on this facility.

Was it just enjoying our reaction? I wondered. Not knowing what to say to him, I just replied,"Try to stay calm Terence." and reached for my flashlight as well.

It crawl quickly across the floor, almost as it was making sure to let it's claws make scratching noises as it did.

I get a little nervous but manage to stay calm. I think it was just trying to scare us and was simply teasing us. I was still prepared to use the flashlight, though.

While we don't visualy change with age, we tend to earn the general traits of those who die around the place we were born in, the older we are the more stable we become. And before you think they all are like me and my brother, when i say those, i don't alwais ment human, there is others living behing outside of you in this world."

I nod, "So could you ever become stable to be fully human?" I ask him, "Or something very very close to it?"
