"Anage must be a very important monarch among the rryori," He relpied back to the young ryori, "but I really don't know much about such going on in your shadow world. I live in the lake and am rarely bothered by matters of the surface dwellers. Are you descended from this great king through your sire or your dam?"

"I am descendant of one of his sisters. My mother comes from Sagaea's line. I was named after her I guess sort of." Sagetri said. "I am not sure but it's said that Anage was the first one to have the power I have now." She smiled. This kelpari was very nice but his sister didn't sound so nice. Sagetri looked around and saw that her mother was gone.

(OOC: finally I have some time to relax and catch up)

Raka climbed ashore a short distance away from the majority of the group and placed Amara on the ground in front of him. She had often a little wet but she seemed fine he thought as her eyelids began to flutter.
Raka straightened up and looked around. He saw Mermydon conversing, or at least something akin to conversing, with a young ryori. His demeanour was kind, almost like he was family, part of her herd or whatever you would call it for ryori.

He was having a pleasant time with his ryori godfilly, still he couldn't abandon the wounded stallion he was mending at present. "If I weren't busy at the moment and if you didn't need to breathe air, I would bring you into the lake for a barebackride around the middle aisle and perhaps a swim up the falls and a flight from off the top of the mighty cascade itself," He promised, "So that you could experience a little bit of life outside of the shadows. Alas I must wait for my comrads to return with some fishes to aid in his healing." It was at about this time that Mermydon heard Raka's splash. He turned to face it quickly, expecting it tobe another menace in that unlucky spit of land they kept finding themselves stuck too. His thoughts betrayed his worries and fears. She sensed from him that he would gather Sagetri under his wingfin and allow her to hide in the safety of her shadow if the splash prooved tobe a real danger. Temporarily to his relief it was Raka and Amara. Then the thought that this might be worse than it looked. "Don't tell me that she fell in and you had the heart to drown her, but not to eat her?" He said sarcastically. "And if Amara is over here, are Smitty and Dhuka safe as well?"

"Aye, I be right here!" He yipped spitting the stem of the lead out of his mouth where he had a firm hold on it. On the nature made sled lay all the fish he had found. "And with me I bring a mesh of the silver shinnies of the sea!" With that he wagged his tail happily not knowing anything was wrong.

Meara~female~Kelpairi

"Have you been feeling well lately?" The mare asked Yal. She circled him looking over all of his fins and scales. Nothing seemed wrong, other than they were a bit dull. "I've heard that you may not be feeling all that well, what's been going on?" Maybe she was acting a bit too humany. They mustn't know that she had been captured once, that she had been a pet at one point before she had been released. She wasn't doing too well to hide it really.

Yal shrugged not want to really tell anything about himself to a mare he didn't even know. He looked behind him at the others. He sighed. This group was strange and he wished Uryi would be there but she seemed a bit busy.

"Okay I must go find Grim Rose and Metal wherever they are at." Sagetri said. She ran off to go find them and soon found her mother who was looking at the orb in a patch of sunlight. It was a strangely beautiful meadow. Sagetri looked at the orb and how it shimmered in the light. It was kind of like water almost as it seemed there was hidden waves inside of it. Sagetri walked up to her mother. She smiled.

"Don't tell me that she fell in and you had the heart to drown her, but not to eat her?" Raka turned at the sound of Mermydon's voice, " No I..." he began but just then Amara opened her eyes.
"We have to get that Orb.."

Raka swung his head around and used it to stop her from falling then gently push her back down on the ground. He hesitated, making sure she didn't try to move again and then straightened up. "We can't get the orb. I agree it might be important but... you and me, we have... powers, the others don't and as useful as they are it means we can't risk getting close to that thing."

He turned to Mermydon and gave him a smile that seemed to say "I'll explain later"
"Anyways, its getting late and we've all had a long day. We should get some rest before doing anything else don't you think?"
