"Scarlet, there's a nicer way of addressing this." Hunter says, sitting down between the two animals. He turned to Genisis. "Most of what the witch said is right about the outside world. There is death and disease. You might not have seen, but we nearly got attacked by wolves, who were trying to eat some of us for breakfast.. Or was it lunch? Anyways, this land, with no rules to keep people - I mean animals - in check, is even more dangerous than the outside world. At least I'm pretty sure. The world might have changed."

"Thank you Hunter for seeing reason," Scarlet barks, "The outside world may be cold and cruel at times but this place can make it so much worse. Think of all the good you can do on the outside compared to trying to figure a way out or a living here."

"Scarlet!" August squawked, feathers fluffing up in a display of aggrovation. "There's no need for that!" He huffed, then looked over at Genisis. "I'm sorry Genisis. Your reasons for not wanting to leave are perfectly valid. But please, understand that we can't stay with you. Everything most important to us is out there. I hope we can still be friends reguardless."

"Sorry," Scarlet apologizes, "It's just it's been such a long time since I've seen my family or my best friends so being teased about the door does not help at all." She knew she was upset so she would rather not say anything else.

Genesis began to fidget with her paws. "No, no. The witch is definitely right. In this world, no one can die, you know. The animals who go insane are the ones that don't let go! Stop wanting to leave and you'll never end up like those predators!" It was infuriating trying to explain this to people who weren't getting it. No one did though. It was unfair! Genesis began to shake her head and back away.

"H-hey..." Jay cut in when he sensed the change in her demeanor. This wasn't good. Everyone was getting on edge and just to prove it, a crack of thunder sounded from overhead. "What the heck?! How can it rain now? Everyone, we need to calm down." It hadn't even been cloudy a second ago.

Genesis just continued yell though. "Yes you can stay with me! I won't let you leave me too!"

Scarlet got up; she had dealt with this enough already and was at the end of her rope. She walks away without a backward glance at the group. She keeps walking for as long as she can. Scarlet knows she is smart she will find a way out with or without help.

August was about to try and reason with the ferret, but cut off when he noticed Scarlet had left the group. After looking around and not seeing her, he sighed and looked back at Genisis. "You asked why everyone seemed so restless." He said, slowly. "Can't you see? There's nothing for us here. We don't want this." He closed his eyes for a long moment before continuing. "We have to stay for now because of this storm, I suppose. But as soon as it passes? We find Mrs. Mouse, and we carry on. You can stay behind, or you can come with us. I'll leave that up to you."

Scarlet walks even through the storm that was forming overhead. She wasn't conviced that Genisis wasn't no is not the witch who cast the spell on this place. Paws moving swiftly she hoped the group would come to their senses.

"And Grey. We have to find my sister." Hunter adds.

Scarlet strains her ears to hear the conversation but knows she cannot do much to help.
