Yeah, without equipment, 3 3-stars would be a bit much!!

Hmm, only solution I can think of would be to boost health for all the pets. An all shadow health boosted team should be able to get to level 30, arena style. Similar for light or light/water teams as well.

Then at lvl 30, the future stats can be allocated more offensively.

Nevertheless, these are likely to be really tough battles! Arena-style is hard enough with decent gear and stronger pets, but should have more success than offensive or balanced teams.

Unfortunately, low level gear outside of Nightfall dungeon or buying esior's "super lvl 0 gear" is almost non-existent.

However, I've gotten great low-level stuff with lvl 10+ teams in the fest zones!! (btw, do fest areas count as a new zone for nuzlocke?)

Good luck!

And if you have already passed stage 5 of the lost grove...I don't see how you are going to get your team to beat all the lvl 70&lvl 73 mobs...

oh my god why u remind me. The hurdle at the end is insane

not too sure how fest zones will work. Maybe they can be a free for all that exist outside nuzlocke? (but you can still put your nuzlocke party in them)

The only way I can think of overlevelling is to do the daily raids when they happen, do the missions, explore fest zones, and just grind like crazy.

I'm starting one more Hardcore party with 3 regen moths. We're determining their elements by getting 120 dice rolls for each pet, then using the most frequent value. Oooh. We can also add up all digits in the most frequent number together to determine their secondary element.

We then regen and name the moth depending on its element. The run will function under similar rules. We'll try not to die again. xD

hhhh we change our mind - so much grinding to do :| and we're just going to get thrashed in the LG anyway

If you can swallow your pride, and remove a few optional rules, it should be easier.

Max stat: good chance of surviving.

Allow any gear: good chance of surviving.

Otherwise, you could do a grindy-grind. Health party to lvl 30, with lots of switching pets (they are all tanks) and loads of mushrooms between battles (always full health). Lots of time in aryths spire until past lvl 50... Levelling to 65 in the old zones isn't hard, just tedious. by then you should have a few pieces of mythical/legendary gear as well from dotf. Then mobs only in the top part of the lg map until lvl 70 or so...

Tedious? yes. Tricky at key moments between areas? yes. But doable? also yes.

They're pretty solid points Malikas, but

*bashes head against wall*

In saying that, it might be cool to try it with max stats, or even the high stat fest pets you can make, but the more I think about the grinding between Astryls tranquility and LG the more I don't want to do this anymore. I remember the grind being horrible when the LG first came out. So...

I have the same thought, actually. :P The thought of grinding so much is why I stopped my own run even earlier than you...

Max stat and/or allowing any gear should make it much more straighforward. Still would need a lot of grindning near the lvl 65 barrier though!

Hello all!
This sounds super interesting, even though I'm not at level 70 yet I'd love to experiment with this!

Here's my hardcore party:

They're not the best looking pets and it wouldn't hurt me too much release them, so here we are!
Tsubasa, Dahlia and Falmingo!
Oh by the way, please do tell me if you don't want to be pinged xD

Rules I'm following:
Hardcore: choose any pets to be designated 'hardcore' pets. Use them in combat. If they fall unconscious, release or battle ban them immediately.

I exist!: Name your designated Hardcore Sylesties before you send them out into battle.

randomised element: The element for each pet is determined by RNG/dice roll.

Purple Glowy Things Are Poisonous: Thou shalt not ingest experience orbs!

Pauper Party: Gold cannot be used on (or for) the designed Hardcore party in any way. (exceptions for changing proficiency points. Unless random proficiency point rule is followed)

Monkey See, Monkey Do: Any sylesties or egglings found while playing your hardcore party become hardcore pets themselves.

Disembodied Soul See, Disembodied Soul Do: Any essences you find on your run become hardcore sylesties when regenerated.

Alright, lets start from the beginning...

EDIT: The elements have been chosen! We have an earth, water, light team with Dahlia being earth, Tsubasa being water and Falmingo being light. Interesting...

Ooh good luck :P You actually have a pretty solid defense team: a taunter, a shielder, a healer. Very, very nice. Not sure how they'll go in the lost grove but it should be hard to make them die

I'm going to start my 3rd hardcore run with 3 mothies. We're gonna slack off on the rules this time (we get rid of pauper party and WYSIWYG Armor)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hardcore: choose any pets to be designated 'hardcore' pets. Use them in combat. If they fall unconscious, release or battle ban them immediately.

I exist!: Name your designated Hardcore Sylesties before you send them out into battle.

Hardcore Regens: Designate regen pets as your Hardcore party. Regen and name them before sending them out into battle.

Nuzlocke Style: Only allowed to catch the first pet you see in each zone (A grand total of 13 sylesties). The exceptions are tagged, legendaries, mythicals.

randomised element: The element for each pet is determined by RNG/dice roll.

Purple Glowy Things Are Poisonous: Thou shalt not ingest experience orbs!

Monkey See, Monkey Do Any sylesties or egglings found while playing your hardcore party become hardcore pets themselves.

Disembodied Soul See, Disembodied Soul Do Any essences you find on your run become hardcore sylesties when regenerated.

Glitched Out Of Existence: If your hardcore party dies, and the entire run fails, release all other sylesties or egglings captured within that run.

Ha! That's...a super defensive team... :P

tbh, that might actually help in the earlier stages. I've played around with different types of defensive teams, and found I really had to keep an eye on earth. They are great at attracting attacks, even if they aren't in the center, but it is also easy to let their health get low.

I see that they are still armor-less. There is great armor in esiors haven.. Or are you also doing the WYSIWYG armor rule?

Good luck!

uh.....odd. I got light, water, earth. I didn't do the stupid thing of rolling 120 dice for each sylesti. I just did a single dice roll for each.
