I feel like my story isn't nearly as interesting as some.

When it comes to names on sites, I've usually preferred to keep it fairly short and liked to just use a single word for myself. Some names I've tried before have been Bliss and Blue (a lovely concept and my favourite colour.)

When it comes to my current name though I have to backtrack a little bit to a different name. When I was trying to register for a pet site that I totally forget the name of now, I was having real trouble with all of my name ideas being rejected. I was getting frustrated, but then the word generator they had to have you type in to prove you aren't a robot generated the word "Mutiny." I paused and considered it, then decided that it was a nice enough name, and went with it.

I used that name for a while (and sometimes still do) but eventually I wanted something else, and I thought the concept of Entropy played off of Mutiny well and had a nicer ring to it. I now use Entropy for most sites I frequent.

Another name I've used before is "Kaly6647" which I got from wanting something similar but different from my name, and from Runescape telling me Kaly was already taken. I was quite young when I came up with it and used it for a little while before moving on to the type of names I liked later.

So yeah. That's my origin story, it's exciting, I know. :P

My story(ies) aren't really all that interesting. (And not to mention I need a new one that fits the character limit of most sites :L)

Babaaeyes was my very first permanent username. I can't remember what I used before; but that's because my mom and aunt were always picking them. Stuff like Zaichik and Tzeplonik. (Russian for Rabbit and Chick) One of the very first (other than Webkinz) games I ever played was Neopets. Neopets was awesome, and I had an obsession over sheep, dolphins, and horses at that time. While playing Neopets, there was a very cute sheep petpet named Babaa.

Now, I was always forgetting my usernames and passwords. (By always I mean at least once a day) During one of these times, I decided I wanted a Babaa related username. So I virtually tried everything; Babaawool, Babaahoof, Babaaear, etc. Then I tried Babaaeyes, and it worked! I ended up not forgetting this one, and it was my username for a long time. Still is now for most sites.

PurpleStarlightWolf was a username I came up with when randomly wanting a username change. I want something more permanent, as to grow out of Babaa, but for now this is what I came up with. There isn't much thought put into this; I like purple. I like stars. I like wolves.

My username is a mix between my nickname and some random numbers.

My dad calls me hot malasada,I got the nickname while we lived in Hawaii.One day we passed by this food truck that was selling these kinds of donut pastries that look like this.

They have really tasting fillings inside,and they are round and sweet...like me,my dad said.So that's been my nickname ever since,well besides Tutti Fruity and a few other names my relatives call me.I just shortened it to malas and added the 120 on.And now that's the main username I use for all the sites I play on.^-^

Yes, that is all true. I enjoyed the idea of my name representing the inevitability of randomness and disorder. :P

I was playing a tabletop RPG, years ago, and it was a superhero game. My character was an alien who, compared to a human being, had extraordinary powers. These included telekinesis, including self-telekinesis (flight). The character was slender, agile, good-looking, and had delicate features compared to a human.

In the middle of a scenario, our "brick" (the big, superstrong, supertough character--think Ben Grimm, Juggernaut, Wonder Woman, Thor, etc.), had had enough with all the other player-characters, who were not straightforward enough in their approach to problems (in his opinion). He tended to deal with problems by either running straight through them or hitting them a lot. Really, those were the only two options he ever selected: barrel through it or hit it.

The player, as his character, stood up and yelled, "We should just attack them! Hit them hard! Instead, we have cat lady (pointing to that player) slinking around for "clues," computer boy (pointing to that player) trying to make nicey-nice with the security system, and the space elf (pointing to me) floating around taking pictures!"

From then on, my character, whose superhero name was "Prism," was known to the entire superhero team as "Space Elf." I used it one day when I needed to come up with a username on the spur of the moment, and added the "1" because the system demanded at least one numeric character. Then I just kind of kept using it, or variations on it. (There are other people out there using SpaceElf; I know this because sometimes I try to use it and find it's already take.)
