August nodded. "That's probably for the best. Power in numbers and whatnot."

Genesis looked between August and Scarlet, her face growing increasingly uncomfortable as they talked. As soon as there was a break in their little epiphany moment, she rolled to her feet and hopped into the center of the group. "I don't understand the obsession with the door. There's no need to solve a riddle since I already know how to find it. There's no reason to find it though. Why does everyone want to leave this wonderful place!" She stomped a foot, looking very much like a petulant child.

Jay whipped his head over to look at the black-footed ferret. "Say what?! Scarlet and August's idea is brilliant! What do you mean we shouldn't find the door? If you knew where it was this whole time, you should have said so!" He couldn't understand why someone wouldn't want to leave. Surely it was a joke!

"You know where the door is? LET'S GO!" Hunter says, jumping up.

August looked at Genisis. "...Well, why wouldn't we?" He asked, softly. "We have family, friends, lives outside of this place." He paused, then tipped his head to the side thoughtfully. "Is there...? Wait. On the way, you mentioned you've always been here. Your whole life, you said. Of course.... Do you not know about the outside at all?"

Scarlet looks at Genesis with a minor bit of outrage, "Where is the door if you really know where it is? I want to go home I'm tired of this place and not being able to be bend a bow! This place messes with a person's head if you haven't noticed. So where is the door?"

August extended a wing out in front of Scarlet with an abrupt motion. "Shush. Let him explain before you get all upset."

Scarlet sat back down with an aggerivated huff, "Fine but don't expect me to be sympathetic." She was more then a little upset about what Genisis has done to them.

Genesis' fur puffed up, leaving her tail as thick looking as Scarlet's. "I-it's true that I don't remember anything from before The Menagerie, but I trust the witch when she says that the outside world is a terrible place! Think about all the dying there and disease and pain! If you stay in The Menagerie, no one will ever leave! So-" She stepped even closer to the others in a show of boldness. "I won't let you guys leave either! Stay and be my friends!"

Scarlet growls looking Genisis in the eyes, "Look pal I have a family outside of this place my father is missing and I want to find him so show me where the door is and I won't pull you through it. If you really want to be my friend then help me otherwise I'll do it on my own."
