August tipped his head. "Er, sorry."

Scarlet shrugs, "Oh well at least you're trying to entertain us at this point."

Jay pouted. "So does it have to do with the letters themselves? Ugh, but that doesn't make sense either! Both four and five have four letters, so taking two away doesn't give you four and they only share one letter. It's one of those tricky out of the box answers though, isn't it? Like when I played Green Glass Door that one time!"

Genesis nodded her head sagely. "I agree. I don't get this riddle at all!"

August smiled as best as a bird possibly could. "Yes, it is, more or less."

Scarlet looks at Jay, "I think I figured it out but I will not say anything unless I have all of your permissions. Augustus tell me if I'm wrong when I answer okay?"

August nodded once. "Go ahead."

Jay huffed and fluffed up his wings. "Yes, please! Answer if you know it!" There was only so long that he could be frustrated trying to figure out the answer to a single question. How long had they spent sitting here doing this anyway?

"It involves Roman Numerals five is V while IV is four. Do you understand now," Scarlet asks seemingly bored, "And is that right Agustus? Five without the letters f and e makes the Roman Numeral IV which is four."

August chuckled before bobbing his head in affirmative. "That's correct."

Scarlet took a sweeping bow, "Thank you professor do you have another one?"
