Dhuka~female~morkko

"It's just Dhuka." She growled pulling herself up onto her feet. Still she was too tired to do much more than yawn as she retreated from the beach into the shade of the shore where she found a soft bed of clover to take a quick nap.

Smit~male~Zolnixi

"On it cap'n! We gunna be back before th' sun goes below. Ready lassy?" he asked smiling at Amara. She was pretty he would give her that, though she was a bit shy for his liking. Maybe if they stuck together she would over come that.

Meara~female~Kelpiri

She felt something as she woke again. The stallion was kissing her?! Using the last of her strength she pulled herself away. "Have you no class?! No dignity!" She yelled in a rather choppy voice. "Ask a mare before you kiss her!" Again she fell back, having tired to walk away.

She Smile and nodded not sure what they were doing but she couldn't think of another response. Saying No would make the situation more awkward than it already was for her.

"This appearance is as foreign to me as it is to you! One moment I'm normal and the next!" Raka opened his un damaged wings for effect. "The armour is the greatest mystery though, it was my father's I think he left it to me before he... well"

Raka's voice trailed off, he had only known his father for a short time during most of which he was too young to remember anything.

Yal remembered everything now vividly. It was so well that he remembered the one mare he had been forced to fight against. It had taken days. He had been weak and broken. Grey Blood had to force him through magic to try and kill her. He had injured her and she had somehow disappeared. He longed for her comfort. She had been nice to him and even offered to be his mate. How he wished to be with her. He knew she was probably dead yet he couldn't help but long for her soft fins and kind nuzzling. Amethyst watched her brother carefully and she sighed. He was more mature than she thought he would be. He was probably thinking of leaving.

The sun was past it's zenith and starting to cross between mid and late afternoon. Everyone, Mermydon felt, choosing to be under his charge was accounted for and safely on Middle Island. The water sprites had left after the morkko's bones were picked clean. The luminous pearl horn that held the skeleton in place expended it's light to chase the motley creatures back into the depths, then just melted back into the light. The waters would soon be safe again for everyone the opportunities to rest and recreate as they saw fit. But for Mermydon, he was given a rather unusual surprise when Meara revived from the kiss of life. She had rolled his tongue a couple times before realizing what was happening and trying to extricate herself from the mud! He'd never had a mare do that before. Then the screaming started. [ "Have you no class?! No dignity!" She yelled in a rather choppy voice. "Ask a mare before you kiss her!" Again she fell back, having tried to walk away. ]

He stood there and blinked a time or two so she could see that the ruckus she was making was turning her into the center of everyone's attention. He expected she was going to start blushing especially since she ended up falling back into the mud and virtually finishing covering herself up with mud from what wasn't covered when she was lifeless. Mermydon let that realization sink in as well.

"I'm glad to see you enjoyed that kiss as much as I." He said with only the mildest sarcasm. "You're right of course Meara. The next time I run into a mare as beautiful as you in my home lake that needs the kiss of life, I'll be sure to ask them if they want their prince to revive them or not. Or maybe you'd prefer that I shall consult the princess first?"

Raka couldn't help but smile. "Aye, that he was. I still cant help but wonder how I got this armour, it should be rusting abandoned somewhere in Hallenjax."

Raka had always admired the craftsmanship of this armour, the intricacy that hooves simply could not forge. It was the one thing his father had taken with him when he escaped his life as a servant of the merfolk.

Upon hearing Meara's screams Raka whipped his head around in the direction of the shore where the others stood. Him and Akega were not all that far along the shore and still in plain view of the others. He turned to Akega and gave him a smile. "Well, its good to know everyone is doing alright."
