How on earth (or my ten billion fictional worlds) is that supposed to be a good idea for love interest advancement specifically? Are they supposed to bond over the death of their friend or something? What an unsustainable method xD
Now I'm imagining one of those books with like six main characters and there's two side characters with a tentative romantic relationship and every time the author wants to advance it, they kill a main character. Pfft
I need to pay attention to US History xD

That is fair, though I've never seen game of thrones so I can't exactly form a valid opinion on that point, I do agree with you otherwise.

While reading a book I got so attached to this one character after only like five pages of them being introduced and then they DIED on that sixth page and a little piece of me died with them lol
