Jay ruffled his feathers, also feeling a bit uncomfortable about the thought of eating other animals that might be sentient. But not all the animals here were even though they had once been? So that was weird, but it also led to the weird thought of hunger. "I haven't felt hungry either and it's been a few days since I arrived here," he noted. It wouldn't be a problem for a bird to eat seeds and fruit in this limited world, but would of predators. "Maybe if you don't think about food, you don't need it."

Still careful to stay near Grey's paws, Mrs. Mouse squinted up at the skylight. It looked like the light was coming from there, but it became strange as it filtered down. "Could it be that there's some kind of wall there? It's not glass, but it could be magic." Hesitantly, Mrs. Mouse stepped forward and reached out her paw as if to touch what she couldn't see. "...But there's nothing here?"

Scarlet goes over to Jay and lightly hugs him, "I think you're right Jay so just ignore you're hunger, food, or thoughts of a hunt." After the hug Scarlet walks away from Jay and sits nearby.
