"Is that even a question? Of course there is. So much has happened today..." She trailed off, overthinking things again

Victor sighed softly and reached to put his arm around her but clearly he was being incredibly hesitant. Finally he just put his arm around her and pulled her close. " W-well I am here if you need to talk about it. "

She almost flinched when he put his arm around her. She was grateful she hadn't, though. Especially when he pulled her closer. "I don't really want to talk about it...but thanks."

( I swear I can see the awkward... )

" Alright.. " he said softly, gently rubbing her back to calm her down though he seemed a bit tense himself.

(I know...and it's very entertaining xD)

"What about you?" She asked, noticing how tense he was. "You seem to have something on your mind."

" It's nothing important, just overthinking.. " He said with a deep sigh,he didn't want to worry her anymore then she was already worrying. Half of what he was worrying about might just piss her off or something, so he wouldn't say anything.

Yeah, that was probably best. She didn't think that overthinking was nothing important, however. "Are you sure?" Whenever she was overthinking it always lead to the worst possibilities, like the plague. Or death.

" Yeah.. I'm sure, it's more then alright.. " He said with a soft sigh, he didn't think it was a good idea to talk to Alaska about it right now.. He would probably talk about it later on, but right now rest was more important.

If either of them would be able to rest, that is. Alaska nodded, not saying anything else. She just went back to trying to go to sleep, failing, and then overthinking things. It was a very toxic cycle.

Victor wasn't really able to sleep either, he quite honestly was debating willingly sleeping on the floor.
