Victor smiled sheepishly and sat down on a nearby beat up couch. " Maria can you go play with Bailey while your mother and I talk? " Maria nodded and happily went off to play. Victor sighed softly and said, " I'm sorry for just.. leaving like I did.. "

She sat down next to him. "No," she said, taking a shaky breath. "It's my fault for treating you the way I did."

Victor shook his head softly as he hesitantly took her hand, " Even so.. what kind of man am I to leave my fiancee who is expecting my children without even trying to talk to her, making her worry over me for days on end not knowing if I am alive or dead..? " he said softly, he clearly felt horrible for doing what he did.

"It's okay, if I was you, I probably would've left a long time ago," she said in a whisper, looking at the floor

" I.. I know you would have.. but that isn't me. I shouldn't have left you.. " He murmured gently, letting go of her hand.

She was so tempted to lash out and say, 'no, you shouldn't have', but instead she said, "It's okay, we just needed a little time is all."

Victor nodded softly, " I still am sorry.. and I know sorry's won't be fixing this.. but I swear even if I must spend the rest of my life trying to fix this I will.. " He almost said for our children's sakes but that might of hurt her.. and it wasn't just that. He still loved her.

"One thing you can do is come back. We all need you, not just me."

Victor sighed softly, " Consider it done.. I missed you so much.. I almost couldn't sleep without you beside me.. " He admitted with a sheepish smile.
