looove the new babies. i think they're absolutely, pawsitively adorable. they look amazing
as others have mentioned, the adult male's face has some perspective issues. moving the left (his right) eye and face jewel to the left a touch helps a lot.
the adult female is super cute.
that said, i do prefer the old expressions of both adults. i just like his strong and her elegant vibes

Great art! Everything looks so fluffy and huggable. The poses are nice, and I love the new gems, but here are some things I noticed.
I agree with many of the people who have commented here about the male's facial expression, but something about the female's face doesn't quite work for me. It might be that the cheek fluff is too large, but I really think that the eyes aren't quite where they should be. I think experimenting with moving the eyes just a little in or up would be interesting, but this might just be something that bothers me and not anyone else.
The female's arms don't have as much fluff, and the circles are very pronounced, making it almost feel scaly in a way that the male's arms don't. I also think that the claws on the female are just a little awkward, but it's barely noticeable and not much of an issue. All of this makes the lower body of the female a bit dinosour-esque.
I like the body proportions on the male better than the female. I especially noticed how much larger the upper legs are (not the arms). This follows the trend of the female species being a bit leaner and more graceful, but it never bothered me in other species. I would try to make the female's thighs a bit larger. After all, it is a hopping animal.
The last thing may be unavoidable, but the female only has one ear visible due to the pose, and it makes sense spatially, but even so, it gives the slight impression that she only has one ear. This might just be a me thing, but if you are considering changing the head angle, adding a little bit of the other ear would help.
I am a critical, detail-oriented perfectionist, so I mostly only cover possible edits, but I really do love the sketches and would be perfectly happy for this to end up as the finals.
Quoting Krinadon: "It's been a very long time, but I don't think the Luffox are intended to be bunny/rabbit/hare-like at all. I think they were just intended to be cute, little, mischievous fox-like fantasy creatures."
I love foxes, and I would never, ever have imagined them as the inspiration for Luffoxes! To me, Luffoxes appear as though cacomixtles and/or raccoons were their "baseline."
I know this is not the "Luffox revamp thread," but--foxes? Seriously? Couldn't let that one pass.
Hehe. Yes, that is where the name came from. =P Luffox was from "Love Fox", hence the little hearts on their heads and they were initially released for/around Week of Love, IIRC.
As I said for the Bulbori though, all of our species are meant to be fantasy creatures, first and foremost. Some obviously are more than others, but we have never made a species with the intention of it just being a digitized real-life animal.
The Luffox were meant to just be cute, little, mischevious gremlin/troll-like fox creatures - I think specifically kinda based on fennec foxes. But again, we weren't trying to make a fox - we were making a Luffox.
And it's the same here with the Bulbori. We aren't trying to make a bunny, rabbit, or hare. We are trying to make a Bulbori.

I love that you plan to go much more crystal-y on them!! The bigger claws on the girls are great, and I adore the new floating head gems, especially that they're now present on the babies too.
I do agree with others saying though that the poses are a bit odd, I know these are sketches but the cheek fluff on the female is indeed a bit awkward, it makes it have way different proportions than the male (which is fine but strikes me as odd considering the body is mostly similar). The cheeks affect the eyes and therefore the expression, for which I prefer how it is right now (giving the females smiling eyes, with the new sketches they look less expressive).
I also think the fluff on the male's neck muddles the pose a little, it could use a bit toning down, giving it more of a smooth shape like the female has. Amethystx' edit of the face is great also, as it makes the face proportions similar to the female's.
Overall, I think the original expressions get lost a little, which I think is sort of a shame since I feel like Bulbori are one of the few species where the facial expressions are, well... expressive, which is quite appealing to me. Recapturing those might be a bit tough, so I think even with a bit of a different expression, as long as the vibe remains, they'll most certainly turn out great. I am very excited to see the revamp progressing!

The female should have both ears visible. And, one of the adults should have at least one ear up, like the babies.
for the new design of female bulboris keep it like the current one but remove the crystal above its head so it makes it cuter though
The crystal above the head is PART OF the bulbori. It's a tool for communication, if memory serves.
The crystals are basically obligatory.

I am loving the fluff and especially the tail. It would be nice if the females other ear was slightly visible. My only problem is the ales "arms". There is something just slightly off about them. Overall very happy so far.
