Raka snapped back to the present at the sound of mermydon's voice.
"I... I am Hallenjaxian by birth but, my... my father was... he was..." What was he? Raka searched his memory for the answer. Until finally it came to him.
"My father was a captive raised kelpari... under the ownership of the mermish royal army. I don't know how that's possible but..."
This was all so confusing...

Dhuka~female~morkko/Smit~male~Zolnixi

The scent trail led them straight back to the shore where the others were still gathered. The morkko shook the kill she held in her jaws as they entered the camp. It wasn't much but she planned on going back out still to look for more. Smit seemed all to happy to be back by the waters edge. Without warning he jumped into the river and disappeared down into the water. "Well that's a new one." Dhuka growled taking a seat on the shore.

Amara trotted at the back of the pack as they made their way to the shore. She was slightly startled by Smits sudden plunge into the water, almost dropping the basket of fruit. She set the basket down a little ways from the others and watched silently, was it okay the Smit came with them? He was weird and she wasent sure if the others would be okay with him or not.

Amethyst swam around. She then headed to the lake. She collapsed on the island and slept. She opened her eyes after a while. She was well rested. She wanted to see if Raka was finished but she thought she might be intruding. She got up and dipped back into the water. Amethyst swam upstream. Water went over her and she smiled. She always felt home in the water.

Grim Rose sighed and headed back. The egg started cracking. It always seemed to fast to enjoy the time as being a mother in the shadow realm. She sighed. Metal headed through the portal and went to watch the others. He smiled. He was soon to be a father and that meant also it wasn't his last. He looked at the sky. His aging started to slow down once more.

He sat by the shore in his most un imposing of forms watching the mortals carefully. He did not often visit the mortal realm but one could only discern so much through the minds eye.

He had been worried the mare Amethyst had lost her way but Raka had done well to calm her sorrows, good he would be needing her.

Then the ryori metal slipped through a portal into the mortal realm. He watched as metal made his way towards the others, then glided to where the portal had been. He could not travel to the ryori's world on his own for it lay in a plane he could not breach. Slipping smoothly into ryori form he pushed against the invisible scar the ryori's rift had left behind and passed through.

He emerged in front of the ryori's den. Within was Grim Rose with her kit. Good the two of them were well not that he had suspected otherwise, no it was Mermydon whom he was here to check on. Gazing deeper into the den he could see the skull that hid Mermydon's life orb. Quite the odd one that prince was to literally put his life into the hands of these foreign beings but, it was safe. Silently he slipped back through the rift-scar into the mortal realm.

Now, where was that oddity whose break from reality gave him sight beyond that of most mortals... Ah, in the river of course. That one was always in the least likely place for him to be. Shifting his form to match that of the mortal he padded over to the river to greet one of the few mortals able to perceive him even while in his incorporeal form.

Smit's head bobbed out of the water as he grinned oddly at the spirit before him...

Smit~male~Zolnixi

(Please ask next time before playing my character.)
Having not been able to hold his breath any long try as he might Smit was forced to surface. It felt nice to be back in the water even if it had nearly been his death. He had never been one to like land, thus now he felt at home in the water. Glancing about though he found he had swam a bit farther than he had wanted to out into the river. There before him stood (or was it floated) a strange Zolnixi. The male before him seemed not like the other he had seen as he was strangly glowing. " 'n who might he be? Ye don't seem like ye be from round here, ye be lost?" He asked.

(OOC: no need to reply right away, just whenever you usually check in is fine)

He did not speak, he instead simply projected his intentions towards the sylesti.

Just passing through, pay me no mind. Though you may want to be more careful in those currents there sailor.

Of course none of these words were thought specifically , merely thought about. Of course the zolinxi would undoubtedly interpret them as words, or whatever was easiest to understand to such a peculiar mind as his.

He smiled kindly at the nixi before turning away and dissipating, returning his essence to his own realm.

Smit~male~Zolnixi

How many times did this have to happen before he cared? "Just another hallucination, darn sea always trickin' me." Smit shook his head and started back towards the shore. Funny how long he had been on land and still heard the voices in his head. Least Mary Jane hadn't came back, awful sea witch.

Heroine felt arora but more powerful then ones sensed before it felt stronger than her fathers then it dissapeared "Hopefully that was just a test drill or a miss guidance" she whispered to herself

Kanakwella stepped closer to heroine "Where do you think you're going heroine?" she said almost shouting

Heroine herd kanakwella and didn't answer she felt weak at that moment like her power was being drained

Akega didn't know what to say from there being more of groups than he's used to

Taka stood slowly his head finally clearing. He turned to Akega with a smile, "It's sort of frustrating not knowing your own life story no?"
