I blink. "You were happy at your job, I'm gonna guess, so why in all that's under the sun would you get the person who keeps you there, and pays you, killed? That makes no sense whatsoever. "I've learned all sorts of tricks, but they might not have everything I need, something simple, fast...Oh! Do you like mint? And orange? I don't care for that too much, but I can do an orange mint cake for you! Or maybe banana? Or pear, I haven't done pear in a bit...or strawberry? I can try a strawberry banana cake or something?" I rush around, looking for flour, sugar, salt, eggs, butter and such. "Oh goodness I hope we have at least some of that around here, maybe chocolate would be best?" Oh god I'm rambling I hope everything's okay oh dear.

The number that had stayed quiet during the previous talk jumped down from his perch. " There is realy no raison to bother panicking ... the halfling didn't made a mess yet so evrything should be somwhere... dont ask where exactly..."

"Yeah, I get that sometimes, and if you could find a mixer and a bowl that would be great! Hmmm, strawberry and mint, with banana icing! Yes, that's the one. Now to find the fruit and those leaves might be a challenge, but I will procure them!" Finally, a combo I can live with! The cake will be soft and light, so less flour than usual, and maybe a touch sweeter, honey to balance it, and maybe...no, I don't think it needs any change, now, into the fridge! I head to the fridge and look for strawberries and mint leaves.

Oh geez, I forgot for a moment a number was here, how stupid of me to forget, she thought looking through every single drawer in sight until she found a mixer and a bowl. Placing it on the counter she stood awkwardly, unsure of what to do.
